Wonderful experience learning about the culture and lunch was good too. The tour guide was was very good providing a lot of background information.

Victor was amazing!! He really filled us in on the history of South Africa and was insightful and knowledgable. He was also really friendly and polite. We learned so much from him on the ride to Lesedi! And Lesedi village was incredible!! The performances and presentations was so interesting and amazing, I can’t wait to go back again!!!

Thabang was very responsive and accommodating through the entire process. I enjoyed every aspect of this trip and even booked another tour with him. He really goes above to make sure you are comfortable.

On this tour Thabang started an engaging conversation about South Africa with our group on our way to the village. Everyone enjoyed the conversation. He had a necklace made for me with my name. This was an excellent tour. Thabang is the best.

Jan 27, 2024. My friends and I had a blast today! We took a tour with Thabang to The Lesedi Cultural Village. It was a beautiful drive there from Johannesburg to Hartebeesport. We all laughed, sang songs, and Thabang played some traditional African music for us! At the Cultural Village there was so much to see. There are shops, a tour of the village, and a dance performance that tells the story of the Zulu Warriors. It felt very spiritual as the sound of the drums rang out and the dancers danced with emphasis. We were all moved by the performance! Afterwards we enjoyed a meal showcasing true African cuisine. I tried crocodile meat for the first time. It was pretty tasty. The meal was buffet style so I also had lamb stew, pop, cabbage with carrots, and topped it off with carrot cake & ice cream! DELICIOUS!!! The service there was great, and the ambience was warm. Definitely visit here to get a true sense of African culture, African cuisine, & African Hospitality! Reach out to Thabang & his crew. They will make certain that your time is enjoyable, and well spent!

Our tour guide, Thabang, was AWESOME!! He brought us to the Lesedi Cultural Village during our stay in Johannesburg. We learned so much about 5 tribes of Africa and their cultures including the Nguni, Xhosa, Sotho, Pedi, and Zulu tribes. We had a tribal drum lesson and several of the members of our group tried Mopane worms, which is considered a delicacy!! We ended our visit with by enjoying an authentic African dinner. Such a great experience. Would definitely do it again and highly recommend!!

We went on various tours in the span of 4 days with Motleys. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off as well. They were great! Knowledgeable and took great care of us. Would definitely book again/highly recommend them for your tours when in Joburg!
