“Light of Creation” is a 30-minute immersive light show in Vienna’s Votive Church, inspired by Genesis. This spectacular light and sound show uses state-of-the-art technology to bring mankind's oldest history to life. Upon entering the imposing church, surrounded by venerable architecture and mystical atmosphere, your journey through creation begins.
In six acts, you will experience the creation of the universe – from the birth of light to the flowering of life. Thanks to innovative projection technology, the church space is transformed into a breathtaking spectacle of light, colour and sound. Their senses are addressed at all levels as reality and illusion merge.

Worth seeing but bundle up!

4.00This was a beautiful, visually impressive experience. The Votive Church itself is absolutely stunning, and the projections inside the church are very well done. Just being in the space makes the show feel special. That said, a few things travelers should know: It is VERY cold inside the church. There were no blankets or warming options, so dress much warmer than you think you need. While the visuals were lovely, I felt there was a missed opportunity to make it more dramatic and immersive. With the space and theme, it could have been taken to the next level. Overall, I’m glad we went and I would go again, especially knowing what to expect. Just bundle up and go in appreciating it as a calm, atmospheric experience rather than a high-intensity production. Tip for future visitors: Wear a heavy coat, scarf, gloves — and maybe even bring a small blanket if allowed.

5.00I have never seen anything like this. It was spectacular. Beautiful music, stunning visuals. It would go back to Vienna just to see this. It took my breath away and left us emotional and lost for words for a while. Book seats at the back for best view.

5.00One of my most memorable experiences to date. A must see and very much worth the admission fee. Atmosphere was great during a packed out performance. The show was long enough but would have been very happy had it also been longer.
