Lovely and leisurely introduction to Lille

5.00This was a wonderful introduction to Lille. We really enjoyed walking around the city with Jerinë, who designed the tour to focus on the history and architecture of Lille (as we requested). We learned a lot about the buildings, renovations or reconstruction of various structures, including the opera house, the stock exchange, churches and more. We also learned about several statues around the city. She also made several recommendations for activities and food. We scheduled a 2 hour tour and were able to go at our own pace. We should have scheduled a longer tour. We would do this again. Thank you, Jerinë for this delightful experience.

5.00A guided tour of Lille is a MUST in order to more fully appreciate the city’s architecture, history, and culinary traditions. Our first day was spent on our own wondering around this beautiful city. Day two, we had a guided tour and I was remarkable how much we missed on our own. Definitely recommend a guided walking tour and our guide, Raphy, was excellent!

5.00Jerine is an excellent guide, she took us all over to many historical sites and certainly loves French history, and Lille. She easily filled three hours with a wonderful tour. Lovely woman - a delight.

5.00Our private tour of Lille, France with Ines was terrific. Ines was a fantastic guide. Lille was having a huge festival during our tour and Ines went out of her way to work around the large crowds and give us a tour that highlighted history, sights to see and food and shopping to enjoy. Ines was very friendly and we had great communication with her before and after our tour. She really cares about the people she shows around Lille and we appreciated having her as our tour guide. We lucked out. My wife and I were really pleased with this tour and highly recommend it.

2.00Our guide was very pleasant. Unfortunately, however, the guide had to rely on reading summaries of the various sites. We could have printed those off and read the material ourselves.
