Your adventure begins with a scenic 30-minute drive along the coast, followed by testing and fitting each participant’s climbing equipment to ensure comfort and safety. Once everyone is ready, we’ll take a short trail that leads to a hidden sea cliff overlooking the Atlantic. At the site, your guide will set up the top-rope routes — this takes around ten minutes, giving you time to relax, enjoy the views, take photos, or learn more about the setup process. Before climbing, you’ll receive a clear safety briefing and a hands-on introduction to the basics of outdoor climbing. Then it’s time to explore the wall: several routes await, from easy climbs perfect for first-timers to more technical ones for experienced adventurers. Between climbs, take in the breathtaking scenery from the base and the top of the cliff, feel the ocean breeze, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of the coast. After the session, we’ll hike back and return you to your pick-up point.

5.00One of the most amazing experiences in Portugal. Worth every cent of the ticket cost as you get a fantastic guide in Miguel who is friendly, informative and encouraging. There location is remote, quite and gorgeous. We felt safe at every moment on the climb and it was simply amazing watching the sunset while we learned to climb!

5.00Miguel was awesome, fun, polite, attentive. The spot he brought us was incredible, the view on the beach and the sunset at the end! The vehicle was clean and spacious. They provided with harness and helmet, I had my shoes but they can also provide. The wall is about 10m high and they had set up 3 top ropes very securely from bolted anchors on the top and there’s also another set of bolted anchors right on the ledge used to direct and keep the rope from moving too much. Miguel is part of the climbers association, they do inspect the anchors often. Had a lot of time to take pictures and videos. He gave us some cool info on the history of the place. I would recommend this to anyone of any climbing level that just wants to taste the rock and sea breeze. There are cracks as well as crimpy face climbs. There’s a diagonal crack that lets you test your balance on your feet. Really great experience!

5.00Incredible view, possibly the best I’ve ever seen. The instructor was amazing! He was super patient, encouraged me to figure out my next step but would assist me if I needed it. He provided me with any information I wanted. Highly recommend this company.

5.00If you're an adventure junkie this is a a must do!! Miguel was absolutely incredible, as someone looking to get into climbing this was the perfect introduction; Miguel is super attentive and makes sure you feel comfortable. and the view are insane. 10/10 highly recommend for a super fun time :)

5.00Loved my day climbing with Miguel. He has a real love of the outdoors and the place he lives and wanting to share it with others. Also loved that we got to climb in a secluded area by the water. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again on future adventures.

5.00This was such an amazing trip! My friend I have some climbing experience but this would be great for all levels. Miguel was a fantastic teacher, he made us feel very safe while also encouraging us to push ourselves. We ended the climb with a sunset over the Atlantic. We’ll definitely use this company again when we come back!

5.00This was genuinely one of the coolest experiences I have ever had!! It was challenging and out of my comfort zone, yet SO WORTH IT! Miguel was a terrific tour guide and made me feel safe and comfortable the entire climb. The views were spectacular and I would recommend to anyone who has a free afternoon in Cascais or the Lisbon area.
Perfect place and awesome guide! Would definitely come back :)

5.00I had an amazing experience! The place is a beautiful, hidden gem, with a view of the ocean and praia do Guincho. Miguel is a very cool, pacient and experienced guide. I went with two friends and he made sure to adapt his approach to each of us, depending on how comfortable/experienced we were with climbing. Would definitely do it again and highly recommend :)

5.00I had a WONDERFUL time rock climbing with Volta!! Miguel is excellent and i'm so glad i went. it is truly beginner friendly - It was my first time doing outdoor rock climbing (although i have bouldered a few times and that was helpful) and i felt safe the whole way through. The views are stunning.
