Join us for a narrated dolphin tour of Clearwater Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico aboard the Little Toot, a beautiful tug boat. We offer amazing dolphin sightings as the wild dolphins love to jump and play in our wake. We offer seats in the shade or sun, whichever you prefer and are always free to get up and walk around the boat. Please arrive 45 minutes prior to departure for parking, ticketing and boarding(parking fills up very fast on beach and traffic can be heavy. Sorry, but we cannot hold the boat for you if you are late). **Boarding begins 10 minutes before departure**

5.00went on this dolphin tour a couple of years ago and got a great video of dolphins following the boat. I decided to take the same tour again yesterday and once again saw dolphins swimming alongside the boat—this time on two separate occasions. An amazing experience both times!

2.00The boat itself was very clean and spacious, and the crew were friendly and welcoming. That said, for a trip costing over $100 and lasting more than an hour, many visitors may feel disappointed by seeing only three dolphins, which were barely visible and appeared for less than two minutes in total. I understand that dolphins are wild animals and that each outing can vary. However, on a similar tour I took elsewhere, more than 30 dolphins swam around our boat for over 30 minutes, which made the contrast noticeable. The experience wasn’t entirely without highlights. When we reached open water, there were a number of seabirds diving to catch fish, which was interesting to observe, though the captain chose not to stop and instead moved through the area fairly quickly. Most passengers seemed disappointed when the trip ended, and under their ticket policy, we were not eligible for a free revisit. Overall, the experience felt frustrating given the cost and expectations.

5.00Fantastic experience. We saw a huge pod of dolphins and they rode tbe waves next to our boat for almost ten minutes. It was incredible! It was also neat to see the view of Clearwater from the water.

5.00We had a great time. We had a little wait to see dolphins but it didn’t disappoint at the end. We ended up seeing several dolphins and got to see the jump and follow the ships wake

5.00Highly recommend this dolphin tour. We had so much fun watching the dolphins playing and swimming with the boat. I would love to do this again.

5.00Saw dolphins swimming alongside boat for about 10 to 15 minutes. The dolphins were jumping in tadem-sometimes 4 at a time! It was wonderful

5.00Everything on this tour was fantastic. Boat was clean and staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We saw 2 dolphins on our tour and they knew how to get the to play! It was so fun to watch!

5.00Crew was very fun and nice and did a good job respecting dolphins and getting them to play in the boats wake which the dolphins were very playful and there was even a junior dolphin!

3.00We chose Little Toot because they appeared to have the best reviews when it came to viewing dolphins. They did not disappoint! After three quarters of an hour one appeared which chased the boat for approximately a quarter of an mile, accompanied by the Benny Hill theme tune; apparently they have excellent hearing although poor taste when it comes to music. The reason that Little Toot didn’t receive more than an average rating is because for the remainder of the tour the skipper insisted on playing loud rock music which jarred on what was essentially a wildlife excursion. Please also be aware that the upfront cost of the trip is not necessarily the end of it. On embarkation they insisted on taking your photograph against the backdrop of the boat. In addition, this boat had a painted notice on it which informed the passengers that the “crew worked for tips”. With tip inflation reaching 25% this adds a considerable amount to an already expensive trip. And finally, of course, is the souvenir photograph which is prominently displayed on disembarkation but proved to be of no interest to anyone.
