Ever curious what it's like to not only visit a music studio, but experience one? Whether you're a seasoned musician or you can't carry a tune in a pint glass, all are welcome! Come with an idea, poem, a hangover, your favorite instrument or just your favorite people!

Sessions in my home studio in West Nashville will be 1-3 hours, during which we'll write a poem, find a melody and record a quick acoustic demo for you to take home as an mp3! All are welcome. Come experience the studio!

3 hour writing blocks are how all the pros do it during co-writes in Nashville. So in order to give you the full experience, this will be a 3 hour max songwriting and recording session. During your session we'll chat and talk about what kind of song you want to write, spend about 2 hours writing and then 1 hour recording. All songs will be acoustic with either guitar or piano. You can sing and/or play on the recording, or you can leave that up to me and just be one of the songwriters! Either way, everyone will leave with an mp3 recording of your tune!

Lauren made me feel comfortable right away. Her recording skills were perfect for my three original songs I wanted to get through in the three hours I booked and it all worked out great. I left with the three songs I wrote for my children as gifts, each having some background harmonies and a little keyboard Lauren added to my guitar parts. The songs came out great.

I went because my sister-girl trip group had it planned, but had low expectations. I had no idea what to expect, but a week later, I am still smiling and talking about it! The Voice star (Team Snoop!) is a tremendous talent, with a powerful voice reminiscent of Janis Joplin. Google the Youtube videos! She welcomed the four of us into her home studio, and as we chatted about our relationships and adventures, helped us piece together some lyrics. Playing with the rhymes was a riot of laughing -til-you can’t-breathe fun. No AI at all! Lauren pops in with spontaneous guitar accompaniment, magically adjusting the beat and the melody. We ended up singing back up because there is no talent in our group, but certainly you can take the lead, sing a solo or even bring your own instrument. She layers the tracks like a pro, and offered some percussion instruments for us to play. We are a group with no musical experience at all, and a few hours later had a great recording that will play in our heads, hearts and playlists forever. Even our Uber driver wanted in! It was the highlight of our trip, and captured the fun and love of relationships in the way only music can.

Wow! What an incredible experience we had with Lauren. We took our young teens to her studio to write a song and record it. It was such a unique activity to do while we were in Nashville. Lauren did a wonderful job guiding them through the songwriting process, provided the melody on guitar, and found ways for both girls to add music to the track. I highly recommend this experience no matter your level of music expertise. We made a song and a lot of memories today. Thank you, Lauren!

Awesome recording in Lauren's studio. I truly appreciated Lauren's kindness and professionalism. Her amazing musical skills and open ness to any style - for me it was Country - and her smile positive attitude were a plus. I absolutely recommend !

BEST VIATOR EXPERIENCE! Don’t miss this one! I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Within an hour, Lauren showed us how to write a poem about our lives and turn it into a song. She is so musically talented and fun and friendly! This was one of my favorite afternoons ever, I can’t say enough about it. “Vodka for the ladies and bourbon for the men” will forever be on my playlist… all my friends back home are so jealous. BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE!

Hands down, BEST VIATOR EXPERIENCE I’ve ever done. Wish I could give it 10 stars. We went there with friends and within an hour we’d written a poem about our lives together. Lauren, very quickly and professionally, added music and her incredible voice and turned our poem into a song. It was like magic y’all! Throughout, she was so warm and friendly, encouraging us non musical people and turning us into pretty decent backup singers. I can’t say enough about it, just book this experience. This was a surprise 60th birthday gift for my hubby. I was a little unsure when I booked it, but when he returned he was on Cloud 9! Lauren was phenomenal. Creative, down to earth, clever. To be honest, I wasn’t certain he could come up with a song but it was actually quite catchy and good! I think it was played for every Uber driver/ hotel staff/ random stranger that he came across lol . Such a fun experience and totally worth it. Thank you so much, Lauren, you (and your back-up singer pup haha)made his birthday adventures extra special !! I really appreciate it!!
