5.00This tour was amazing! We had such a good day with our tour guide. She explained Slovenia’s culture, history and food and happily answered any questions we had above Slovenia. Make sure to show up to the tour hungry because we were very full by the end! I strongly recommend booking this tour, you won’t be disappointed!

5.00We had a great time on this food tour in Ljubljana - as well as plenty of food and drinks (sometimes you don’t get full up on these things but this was great!), taken at a relaxed pace over a late afternoon into the evening. Meta was engaging, informative and great company. We went back to four of the places that we visited on the tour whilst we were still in Ljubljana! Highly recommended.

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Ljubljana food tour – without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip. The food was incredible from start to finish, with a great mix of slower, sit-down restaurant experiences as well as quicker stops that kept the pace fun and engaging. We were completely full by the end, and it truly felt like great value for money given the quality and variety. Our guide, Meta, was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly personable, creating a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere for everyone. It didn’t feel like a typical tour but more like spending time with a local friend who was passionate about sharing their city. We loved how she helped us become “temporary locals,” giving us real insight into Slovenian eating and drinking culture, as well as everyday life in Ljubljana. Along the way, we picked up so many great tips – not just about the food we were trying, but also places to visit for the rest of our stay. It really inspired us to explore more of the city and its culinary scene. We also appreciated how the tour supports the local economy by showcasing small, independent, family-run places. The dishes went beyond the expected, introducing us to unique and sometimes surprising flavours that we might never have tried otherwise. It was also a lovely way to meet other food lovers and share the experience together. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ljubljana – it’s the perfect way to dive into the local culture, discover amazing food, and create lasting memories.

5.00Today, we walked the medieval center of Ljubljana with a wonderful guide who folded history, geography and culture into every bite. The food was incredible, and so was the wine. We were really impressed with the diversity of shops, wine bars and restaurants we visited. This isn't about little bites, so do come hungry! You won't be disappointed!!!

5.00I’d give this good tour 10 stars if I could. They book no more than 7 participants and my husband I were the only participants on this tour. First the food…all food was from Slovenian ingredients. We had modern and traditional Slovenian food. I never knew there was chestnut hWine and beer was also provided, to include orange wine. Alenka , our guide, was so informative. We discussed food, culture, and history. She was very personable and made the experience one to remember.

5.00Alenka was incredible, I couldn't recommend this tour more. I booked last minute on a weekend visitng from the UK with my mum for her 60th birthday, and my four year old son. My son loved trying the variety of food available and felt very welcome. My mum and I really enjoyed getting to know more about slovenian life and history, as well as the very mixed food and drink offering on the day. Would definitely recommend as part of your trip to Ljubljiana!

5.00Fantastic experience sampling both traditional and modern Slovenian food and drink. Alenka was knowledgeable and passionate about her countries produce and we spent 3.5 hours essentially stuffing our faces with delicious food and drink. Highlights for us were discovering pumpkin seed oil and bear salami, however every stop on the tour showcased Slovenian cuisine and produce and hidden gems in Ljubljana. Would highly recommend. Arrive hungry and do not make plans to eat afterwards.

5.00A great night out with our guide Natasia. All the food options were fantastic and varied really showcasing a vast selection of Slovenian food. Natasia was friendly, kind and knowledgeable, she made our evening very enjoyable and also informative. She ensured we were well fed throughout and really personalised the tour for us.

5.00Alenka was friendly, easy to talk to with a great knowledge of Slovenian culture, food, history and gave us great food tastes. Not too far to walk but we saw bits of the city that we might have otherwise missed.
