This one-of-a-kind tour combines one of the most popular activities in Rovaniemi with professional photography! During your visit, you’ll get to meet the friendly huskies and hear stories about life with the pack — from training routines to everyday life at the kennel. You’ll then enjoy 3 km sled ride as a passenger, guided by a professional musher, through peaceful winter landscapes. Before and after the tour you will have time to interact with the dogs, pet them, take photos and relax by the fire with a warm drink and cookies as you take in the atmosphere of the camp and enjoy the surrounding nature. We have carefully chosen to work with a local musher family for whom the dogs are truly part of the family. Their small kennel is run ethically, with deep respect for both the animals and the surrounding nature. A collection of edited, high quality photographs will be delivered to you a few days after the tour. This is the only husky farm visit and sled ride experience in Rovaniemi from which you will receive professional, edited pictures as a memory to highlight your amazing journey here in Lapland.

We had a Wonderful experience with Ville who was our tour guide. He’s born and raised in Rovaniemi and gave us a lot of information about the tour and the Lapland in general. We would highly recommend him and Beyond Arctic for your tours.

If you come to Rovaniemi this is the ONE experience you have to go to! Local husky adventure with small group of huskies who are top class, social and super athletic. My favorite experience by far and i even got to see powerfull aurora! So that’s saying a lot! This farm knows their huskies and I learned a lot between Alaskan and Siberian huskies.

It’s amazing to have fun with dogs. I really love play with dogs. And we can drink hot drink and near the fire is nice in this winter day.

I joined a husky sledding tour today and it was such an amazing experience. The dogs were full of energy and super friendly, and the ride through the snowy forest felt unreal — quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The guides were kind and explained everything well, so even first-timers could enjoy it comfortably. It was colder than I expected, but totally worth it. If you’re in Rovaniemi, I definitely recommend trying this. It’s one of those experiences you won’t forget.

it was awesome! we got picked in a nice van, then we stopped at the main shop to get some warm clothes (they gave us everything we needed) and then we drove like 20 minutes there. they owners were so nice! we took 3 rounds with the dogs, they explained everything about the dogs etc, also had a nice tee break and petting the dogs was really cute. everyone was really nice and helpful (specially Ville, the tour guide and the husky owners). So I would more than recommend it!!!!
