With our guide, you will spend your day exploring the beautiful countryside around Battambang on a bicycle. Weave along the river road while visiting Cambodian families who produce traditional products (such as rice paper and bamboo sticky rice), made in the same way they have been for generations. You will learn first hand about every day life in Cambodia from the families you visit and from our amazing local guides.
Highlights: Meet families that make traditional products such as rice paper, dried banana, bamboo sticky rice, fish paste and rice wine. Enjoy seasonal fruits and coconut water. Finish by visiting a memorial site for the victims of the Khmer Rouge.
A portion of your tour fee goes back to the local community and your guide is a local student getting vocational training through Soksabike.

With our local student guide, you will spend your day exploring the beautiful countryside around Battambang by bicycle. Visit with Cambodian families who produce traditional products (such as rice paper, dried bananas, and bamboo sticky rice) made in the same way they have been for generations. You will learn first hand about every day life in rural communities which make up over 70% of Cambodia’s population. The ride is about 22km. It departs at 7:30am and returns around 12pm. The ride is suitable for all fitness levels.

5.00The tour was excellent - good bikes, careful and safety conscious guides and flat as a pancake. The local business visits were informative with plenty of opportunities to try different foods and products.

5.00Awesome bike tour. The bikes were in great shape -- gear shifting, brakes, and seat adjustment all worked well. The leaders worked together to hold traffic back when we reached intersections, so I felt very safe. We had interesting and informative stops at cottage industries that offered us fruit, snacks, and sticky rice to keep us fed. I like that Soksabike supports local businesses that way-- and that our guides tried to teach us tourists some proper Cambodian greetings. (p.s. I'm in my 70s and had no trouble keeping up, though I do bike at home too. )

5.00Pek was an amazing guide. The tour was set at a gentle pace and there was water provided. It was a lovely length and pace to the trip and a very flat ride. The bikes were great quality and comfortable

5.00A fabulous insight into rural life in Cambodia. Our tour guides Phalla and Lisa were outstanding. They kept us safe while riding through the streets and took us to many places. They made the experience personal and explained much about the culture and rural life. I highly recommend both of our guides to anyone wanting to do this tour. A lovely bike ride in beautiful surroundings and caring respectful guides.

5.00We had the bike trip with our guide Sopheak, we was very kind en funny. De explained us a lot about the local products and habbits. He spokes very clear english foe his young age, so we understood everything very well! So thanks to Sopheak for this nice tour & sok sabai! 🫶🏻

4.00A very commendable trip to the vicinity of Battambang. We were a Swiss group of 7. A sympathetic Cambodian led us through a market, past rice fields, through a Muslim village to the temple of Banan. Highly recommended.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour with Sopheak. He guided us through the city to the outskirts, showing us how people earn a living and explaining everything extremely well. There was so much to see, hear and smell along the way!

5.00This enriched our understanding of this beautiful country. Our guide Pek had amazing English and knowledge around all that we saw . We were all around 60 yrs old and found the cycling more than manageable. Highly recommend
