An experienced Local in a Kilt will guide you on a wonderful tour of Inverness and the surrounding area, Loch Ness, Highland Cows, Whisky, Gin, Battlefields, Ancient Cairns and if you are lucky a private bagpipe solo. You will enjoy learning about the local culture, History and folk lore from a real highlander. This tour suits all ages and can be tailored to suit each groups needs. The tour guide will liaise with each group to make sure they get the experience they desire. The attractions shown can be changed to include any specific requests. for example if you don't want a distillery we can change to visit a castle.

We had such a lovely time and would HIGHLY recommend this tour, or any other from Niall. Our guide provided us with a memorable and powerful day as we learned about Scottish history driving to various destinations outside Inverness while stopping to see a few Coos at a local farm and sampling some spirits! The passion Niall has for his country and openness to share made this day unforgettable. Thank you :)

Every place we visited was well worth the tour. Our private tour guide Neil was exceptional! He gave us great recommendations at the whiskey distillery for what to order, at the gift shops for the best souvenirs. He was so knowledgeable about every place we visited and knew Scottish history. As a native Highlander you could tell he loved his country. He was very accommodating for special requests we had on the tour for special things we wanted to see. We also loved his bagpipe solo!

This was a fantastic tour, and customizable to our group. We were able to add on a castle when one of the distillery’s was closed. Niall was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Niall is absolutely great! Stops were amazing, a must-see. The half day tour was just enough time to get us out and back on the train. Thank you for your amazing hospitality. We will be back!!
