An experienced Local in a Kilt will guide you on a wonderful tour of Inverness and the surrounding area, Loch Ness, Highland Cows, Whisky, Gin, Battlefields, Ancient Cairns and if you are lucky a private bagpipe solo. You will enjoy learning about the local culture, History and folk lore from a real highlander. This tour suits all ages and can be tailored to suit each groups needs. The tour guide will liaise with each group to make sure they get the experience they desire. The attractions shown can be changed to include any specific requests. for example if you don't want a distillery we can change to visit a castle.

5.00Neil was a GREAT tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Scottland and especially about the highland area we where touring. He did not rush us though any part of the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and flet we got a true Scottish perspective on the area. He picked us up at our front door and dropped us off at the same place, which was a very nice perk of this tour. I highly recommend this tour experience if you want to really get out into the country side of Scottland.

5.00Niall was an outstanding guide taking us through various areas of the highlands. His family have been of the highlands for over 300 years and who better to spend time with to learn the rich history. The battlefield sight at Culledon is moving and should not be missed and Niall is the person to see it with. Loved the scotch and gin distilleries and enjoyed the lovely town of Bealy. You can also customize your tour. This experience was outstanding!

5.00The best of the Highlands! Neil took us to all the highlights in Inverness and surroundings. He was highly knowledgeable and his descriptive story telling made the history come alive. He himself is a Highlander and his connection to the places and events in the area added a unique personal perspective. We take many tours and this one exceeded all expectations!

5.00This tour was the highlight of our trip! Niall and Donald were absolutely amazing in every way. Both had a lot of knowledge regarding Scotland’s history, and Niall kept the little girls (and the adults) entertained with his great storytelling and folklore. They felt like family after spending five days together. That’s how above and beyond they went to make our experience memorable. We highly recommend this duo to anyone visiting the Scottish Highlands.
