Your driver-guide will pick you up at 9:00 am or at a time of your choice from the lobby of your hotel, Guilin Railway Station, Guilin Airport, Guilin city center, or any other designated location. Please let us know your hotel name, and we will pick you up from anywhere within 20 kilometers of Guilin city. (Note: Driver who also acts as a guide)
After a two-hour drive, you will arrive at the Longji parking lot,where you can purchase entry tickets to the Longji Rice Terraces. Next, you will head to the Ping’an Rice Terraces, the most beautiful terraces, which were among the first to be discovered by tourists. From the Ping’an parking lot, you will walk up to Viewing Platform No. 2 through the village via stone stairs. Along the way, you’ll observe the Zhuang people’s daily life and their traditional wooden houses. On reaching Viewing Platform No. 2, you’ll be greeted by the iconic “Seven Stars with the Moon” formation. From there, you’ll take a walk to Viewing Platform No. 1 along a flat path, passing bamboo groves, rice terraces, and stunning hill views. When you arrive at Viewing Platform No. 1, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Rice Terraces. Afterward, you will enjoy a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, then you can visit Huangluo honghair village to see the local people’ s daily life.

5.00I had an amazing day with Leo! The rices terraces are beautiful and impressive, definitely worth a visit! The landscapes are breathtaking. Besides, the car was comfortable and very clean, and the place Leo recommended for lunch was excellent. Throughout the day, Leo went above and beyond to provide the best service possible. Highly recommended!

1.00We just completed this tour and feel it’s important to report a serious issue with the driver’s conduct. Throughout the drive, the driver was weaving in and out of traffic, making illegal moves on the road and was constantly on the phone while driving, which felt unsafe and irresponsible. In addition, the driver made several unscheduled stops that were unrelated to the tour, including stopping for gas, washing the car, and running personal errands to pick up some boxes. These interruptions significantly disrupted the tour and gave the impression that our time and safety were not being respected. Overall, the experience was highly unprofessional and fell well below what we would reasonably expect from a paid tour service. We are sharing this feedback so it can be properly addressed and to help ensure future guests do not have a similar experience.

5.00We had a great time walking around the rice fields. Our guide, Liu picked us up on time & provided us with local information & process for growing & picking the rice. We were lucky & had lovely weather which made it all the better. We would highly recommend this tour company & Liu for this tour.

4.00The trip to Longji Rice fields was spectacular and my tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. The reason I haven’t given 5 is because of the trip to the local minority village afterwards. The basic meal of rice with some boiled chicken (mostly bone) and a side of local green vegetables cost 155 yuan (more than any other meal in China, and even more than a comparable meal in London !), and it wasn’t that tasty, tbh. Also, the ladies with long hair asked 40 yuan to let their hair down and tie it back up again, which took a couple of minutes. It’s a shame that the villagers see tourists as an opportunity to rip them off, and it’s not typical of my experience of touring all around China. China and Chinese people have always been fair in my other dealings. My advice would be to wait until you return to Guilin (or wherever you are staying) to buy a more delicious and better value meal. And I leave it up to you whether you want to pay 40 yuan to see a lady undo her hair and tie it up again 😅
