Lower Antelope Canyon is one the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the Page Lake Powell area. Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Visitors get the experience narrow slots an ladder access into some of the sandstone craved shoots an holes formed by the force of runoff into the Antelope Wash from the mesas above.

Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

5.00We arrived early for our tour at 9:15am. They were able to bump us up to the 8:45am tour so we didn't have to wait. From the ladies at the check in counter to our guide Orion, it was a fantastic experience! Orion was very knowledgeable and ensured everyone moved through the canyon safely. He was very helpful with setting on your camera and getting the best pictures possible. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide was amazing! I felt like we had a private tour with a private photographer!! There was only four of us in the group, and he really did a great job by not going too fast. He took time to show us all of the features in the canyon.

5.00This tour was AMAZING and not just the canyon but our guide Tracey was even more AMAZING. She educated interacted and had a joyous spirit while doing it. Demonstrations, picture taking and flute playing. Her knowledge and pride in her ancestry (Navajo) and job were obvious and positive.

5.00Definitely try to go in the off-season. It gets very crowded, and very hot. We went in February and it was awesome. The guides are terrific and it was a peaceful experience.

5.00This was one of my favorite experiences while traveling in Arizona with my husband and children. It’s a bit of a drive from the other major cities, but well worth it! Our guide Tevon was great! He was knowledgeable and very funny! Would 10/10 recommend!
