Colloquially called The Lowlands, the plains between the southern coast and the hilly interior are only sparsely populated these days, but in earlier ages they were thick with human activity, witnessing some of the most significant events of yesteryear. Just an hour's drive from both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, we will explore the Lowlands by visiting a series of sites in close proximity that tell the tales of past millennia. Some of these have been carefully preserved by the National Parks Authority, while others have yet to be recognized and restored to a state that befits their historic importance, but all of them hold fascinating stories that speak volumes about the human condition, and which shed light on even the most recent current events. 5.00David took my family and I on an incredible trip through the Israel Lowlands. David has mastered blending both the beautiful semetic scenery, and the vast history that runs through the land into our tour. His knowledge of geography and culture add another layer of awe into the experience. We couldn’t have had a nicer tour guide, he has the sweetest demeanor, and harbors curiosity. Despite all my questions, David answered patiently and with consideration. If we were to take another trip to Israel, David would be our first pick!

5.00I grew up and lived most of my life in Israel, but there is still so much I do not know about the land. Touring with David was one of the most eye- and mind-opening experiences I've had regarding its history and current reality. His deep knowledge is supported by visuals and texts that add dimension and nuance to every story. In addition, his warmth and soft-spoken demeanor made the time spent together both pleasurable and memorable. Thank you, David, for an experience of a lifetime!
