Join our local Sami guide for a day visit to Nikkaluokta to learn more about the arctic nature, Sami culture and history of the area. See Kebnekaise, Sweden's highest mountain, and get the chance to see moose, reindeer and other wildlife. In summer we do a light hike, visit Nikkaluokta chapel and have lunch in the Sami-owned restaurant, in winter we visit the guide's home for a Sami activity and lunch.

This is an outstanding tour led by a real Sami guide who knows all about the area. Anette was a fantastic guide and so willing to answer questions!

Erica collected us and we had a fascinating and most informative morning in her delightful company. Learning about Sami life and her family in particular was so interesting. We visited a lovely chapel and a beautiful exhibition in the Art Gallery. Lunch was delicious and the cloudberry and reindeer in the wrap a highlight! We even spotted moose and reindeer on the drive home. A truly lovely way to spend a few hours.

Ylva was extremely nice, very considerate host. Came to pick us up, told us about Kiruna and it's history,prepared us a scrumptious lunch at her very picturesque family lodge. We were also very lucky to spot plenty of moose with and without calves on the way to and from the village
