This amazing 2.5-hour horseback tour will take you across the crystal clear waters of the Mameyes River, through a tropical forest and along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean at Luquillo Beach. Enjoy an incredible adventure, a change of pace and scenery. All levels of riders are welcome to participate.

Enjoy incredible views and experience the stunning flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem as you explore it on horseback. This tour departs from Carabalí Rainforest Park and takes you into the foothills of El Yunque National Forest. Our extraordinary horseback ride takes you alongside Mameyes River, whose fresh clear waters are perfect for cooling off during the half-hour swimming and refreshments break in the two-hour tour. We give you a lesson in horseback riding, including safety rules and regulations, before departing. Our experienced staff determines the appropriate horse for you in accordance with weight, height, and experience.

3.00This was definitely fun. I would do it again, but it would be much better if they had you riding with your family. They put you on appropriate horses and the horses have pecking orders which separates you from your family. Also, they did not have any “guiding” through the area to tell you about it. I was there to learn culture and the area. More instruction on safe horse distance is also advised.

5.00The Luquillo Beach Horse Ride was an incredible experience. The guides (Angel and Eric), were both an absolute joy, made me feel comfortable despite my relative inexperience. They were attentive to the riders throughout the entire process. They made the experience of riding through the wooded path that lead to an absolutely gorgeous beach most memorable. I can't say enough good things about the guides and this wonderful experience.

3.00This was the 2.5 hour rainforest beach excursion. If you have not ridden a horse before this would be ok, but if you have and would like more freedom than to slowly walk a trail behind another horse this might not be the experience you are looking for. The trail also does not take you into the rainforest. It was mostly on the edge where you could see highway. We did not see any wildlife either. The horses did walk on the edge of the water on the beach towards the bar for a few minutes and they did take group pictures. That was great for the guides to do. The guides were nice.

5.00My husband and I had a blast on the rainforest-to-beach horseback ride. It was my husband's first time on a horse but they helped him feel confident and comfortable. The guides are really fantastic! They took great photos so we can remember the experience. The beach where we rested was gorgeous! There is a bar on the beach where you can purchase a drink while you take in the view. It was just a fantastic experience!
