A hot air balloon ride is one of the best things to do in Luxor. Experience Luxor at sunrise from a hot air balloon, after early morning pickup, travel to the west bank of the Nile River, and board a shared balloon basket for a 30 to 40 minutes flight. Enjoy once in a lifetime balloon ride in the sky of Egypt's biggest open-air museum and watch the sunrise illuminating the sky of Luxor over the great temples and mountains below. See the area’s famous temples from above and enjoy the breathtaking views of Karnak temple, Hatshepsut temple, Valley of the Queens and so much more. This area has often been described as the biggest open-air museum and a view from the sky supports the description. The hot air balloon trip takes off everyday from West Bank, however confirmation in advance is still highly recommended. With door-to-door transportation included.

Departure time may vary depending on sunrise time.
The Balloon Ride trip departs every day, however, confirmation in advance is highly recommended.
The hotel picks up takes place 45 minutes before take-off scheduled time.
We pick travelers from any hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor.
Camera is not allowed while in the balloon basket, you can use your cellphone to take pictures.

Begin with an early morning pick up(around 4:30 am) from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor, drive by an air-conditioned car towards the River Nile to cross to the West Bank on a motorboat followed by another vehicle transfer to the Balloon port(take-off area)where you are going to start your incredible Balloon ride.

First off, you’ll receive instructions and safety information regarding the flight, and then board the shared balloon basket to begin this unique experience. Take 30 to 45 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country's landscape and famous landmarks such as; the Ramessum temple, the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut Temple and the view of the Colossi of Memnon rising from the nearby fields. Be sure to capture the best moments of the sunrise over the Theban Necropolis mountains.

5.00Our group of 14 did a sunrise balloon ride over the temples of Hatchepsout, Ramses II and the colosses of Memnon. As the sun rose, the fog over the Nile lifted and the views were magnificent. We could even hear workers in sugar cane fields. The service included pick-up at the dock and the drive back. No champagne glass at the end, but the views made the ride the experience of a lifetime.

5.00It was an unforgettable experience!!! The takeoff at dawn with the "fired up" colorful balloons was a dream and the Valley of the Kings from above in the first rays of sun - indescribable! The organization was perfect from the booking to the balloon ride. Thank you very much.

5.00I booked this tour without checking my distance from the hotel I was staying Cairo and found out I was 10 hours away driving, imposible for me to get to this great experience. I contacted Heba and the customer service I received I can give them a 10 star. replied quickly, and helped me get my refund back quick even that I booked for the activity in les than 24hrs. I really appreciate all the help, recommend since I can tell they are responsible and honest people. Hopefully I can return one day and I’ll make sure I visit Luxor to take this tour. Blessings!!

5.00I was in Cairo for 2 days and i booked a last minute craziness for this journey by going on hot air balloon… til i realized with talking with Heba, the person for the company Egypt Gift Tours that i was 10 HOURS away by train from Luxor or one hour by flight. I had not enough time so i had to cancel and Viator was very long to refund me until Heba got involved and i was refunded right away. DEFINITELY a company and a person to reach out to if ever you are in the area! Amazing service, amazing communication, if i come back i will definitely use this company to book a expedition! Just this overview of the customer service tells me how great their expeditions must be!

5.00A MUST DO while in Egypt! Beautiful hot air balloon, well coordinated, very safe, and views that your eyes won’t believe. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Pilot was amazing, very well educated. Highly recommend this tour specifically if you visit Luxor!

5.00I travel with my wife and 7 y/o daughter and the grandparents it's our third time to luxor together and our first ride in balloon (not last) they are very professional and committed with good timing the view of the west Bank and Hatschebsut temple from the sky and the sunrise from the sky is above magical and they made sure everything went fine and everyone was very happy. thanks a lot will surely do it again (with them) in my next visit and specially thanks for Mrs. Heba for her follow up and professionalism
