  This was the most amazing day and evening in the water! The boat was perfect and stocked with everything we needed and more! The captain and his wife made us feel like old friends! We were provided with snacks, sandwiches and homemade pasta salad that was all amazing! They went above and beyond to make us all happy!! Would definitely book again, and cannot wait to get back!

• Amazing solo sunset cruise with Calypso!

  What a wonderful day with Hagen and Liz! I booked a private snorkel and sunset cruise to end my trip before heading home to the (currently tumultuous) States. I was on Bonaire solo and had been boat diving all week, so I wasn’t sure how much I’d want to snorkel by the end of the week. Hagen and Liz made it clear it was my boat for the evening so whatever I wanted, we’d do. I’d asked for just water and Prosecco to drink, and they did not disappoint! We wound up chatting for hours as we sailed along the coast and it was like I was on the boat with old friends. They really went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and taken care of. I wanted a private experience and it was well worth it. The boat is lovely and comfortable, and not having a bunch of strangers on the boat with you is priceless. We tied off at 1000 Steps and saw turtles on the surface while I enjoyed Prosecco and good conversation with Hagen and Liz. Then we headed over to Klein and No Name Beach for a bit, where I did a little swimming and beach walking. Then we sailed back as the sun set and the moon rose. I managed to finish two bottles of Prosecco in the 4 hour trip 😊🥂 I don’t fish, but the boat is well-equipped for it if that’s your thing. Hagen is also a chef and I’m sure his fresh sashimi is *chef’s kiss* delicious. Next time I’m in Bonaire I will be sure to rebook another trip with Calypso. As a solo traveler I had an incredible experience and can’t wait to return. If you’re thinking about going private for your Bonaire experience, go with Calypso! Hagen and Liz are the best.   What an amazing experience! Captain Hagen and First Mate Liz did an incredible job of making us feel like welcomed friends on their boat. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. Communication was super responsive leading up the tour which we appreciated and there were no hiccups getting picked up and making it to the boat. We had some folks in our group with mobility and vision issues and they were great in accommodating making sure everyone got to enjoy everything. Quality food, drinks, conversation and interesting info about Bonaire were free flowing. We got to snorkel at a private local spot, enjoy some beach time at beautiful No-Name Beach, and revel in a spectacular sunset. Overall, we can’t recommend the Calypso and this crew enough. It was the highlight of our Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao cruise and it’s refreshingly rare to get to enjoy the sightseeing with locals that are this knowledgeable and warm treating you like family along the way.   Calypso is the highlight of my family's trip in Bonaire. We booked the snorkel, beach, and sunset tour. Liz and Haagan are incredible hosts. Liz has a warm personality, and took great care to ensure our comfort with incredible conversion, sandwiches, and a wonderful charcuterie board. Haagan has a genuine passion for the ocean. While snorkeling, he highlighted sea life and educated us on the dynamics within a reef. Calypso is an excellent way to visit the small island Klein — the white sand and underwater landscape is breathtaking. Our trip ended perfectly with a sunset cruise. Bonaire is naturally stunning, but Calypso went above and beyond in making it an experience. Liz and Haagan are the perfect hosts for a Bonaire cruise. We truly recommend this tour.

  This private cruise is best way to experience the shoreline and the Klein island of BonAire. Highly recommended. Perfect for my family of 4 as we were constantly catered to. Food and drinks were outstanding. Nice boat! This cruise was a highlight of our week stay in BonAire.

• Amazing Bonaire experience despite the weather

  We were scheduled to do the private snorkel and sunset view tour on New Year’s Eve. The weather was not looking good and we were given an out if we wanted. We are so glad we did not. Despite the poring rain, our family had the best time. This was one of my kids favorite tours on our cruise. Liz and Haagen were the best host. They made sure we were all comfortable and warm throughout the tour and did their best to navigate around the rain and find us a great snorkel spot. While doing so we saw what seemed to be hundreds of dolphins swim and playing around us. It was pretty incredible! Towards the end of the tour the rain ended and we had some spectacular views from the beach. The food and drinks were great and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If we come back to Bonaire again, we will definitely be contacting Liz and Haagan!!
