  We were picked up alongside two other couples and taken to the hotel where the catamaran is moored at the St Regis. As we arrived at the jetty we watched two couples staying in this particular hotel being led onto the boat and settled onto the two front facing small sofas. Clearly organised so they ensure their own hotel residents get the best experience. By the time we boarded with the other two couples, both in front of us as we boarded, one couple took the side facing sofa on the left the other on the right. That left us the seating area behind the bar. There was no suggestion that we move around to make it a similar experience for us all. Drinks were limited. Rum punch or sugar laden soft drinks and some crisps were handed around. That was it. When we got to the sunset the crew took photographs but before the sun actually set - the reason we had booked - we didn't want the Instagram photos but the actual experience - the catamaran had turned around and was heading back. This tour was to celebrate a very special birthday and it was simply a mistake to book it. Not worth the money and badly organised and last to board gets the worst experience. Find something cheaper as this isn't what it says on the tin. Unless of course you are staying in the hotel where the catamaran is. Then it's worth every penny. It looked amazing for the two couples at the front of the catamaran. They got that once in a lifetime experience. We travel the world and hesitate before leaving poor reviews, but this was so disappointing that we feel we have no choice but to warn others.

  We had a nice experience as there were only 2 other couples and it is a large, luxurious catamaran. The crew were great. The first mate did a great job and answering our questions and making sure we were comfortable. The do provide beer and some kind of rum punch in addition to other non-alcoholic beverages. There were minimal snacks. The price seems a bit high but then again a cheeseburger in Bora Bora is $42.

  This was a great sunset experience for our family! Departing from the St. Regis was easy and seamless, and the engaging crew was friendly and attentive to our needs, providing water, rum drinks and beer.

  We were picked up in a skiff and transferred to the catamaran. It was a beautiful boat with plenty of room for our group. The captain and first mate were both excellent. They gave lots of great insight into the history of and local lifestyle in the area. The sun was hidden by clouds but we still had a great trip.

  Amazing views and a wonderful sunset! We had beautiful weather and such a great time sailing around. Captain Dylan and Jane were awesome—super friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the logistics. We were staying at the Conrad and were picked up to be taken to the St. Regis where the catamaran is docked, but we weren’t informed there would be two additional pickups on a small boat about an hour before the actual excursion start time. Once at the catamaran, we also had to wait while four other guests were picked up at separate hotels. After the sail, we waited again at the St. Regis while other guests were dropped off, and then had to take a long boat ride back to our hotel in the dark, going all the way around the island. What was listed as a 2-hour excursion ended up being closer to 4 hours.

  Fantastic boat trip. Crew is very experienced, good sailors, and very gracious to passengers. We had a wonderful time, and even though we had a little rain, it was still fun and had beautiful views. So relaxing. One of our best choices for a tour on our trip to French Polynesia.

  This was a very relaxing experience. We had our kids with us age 13 and 17 and they also enjoyed it. Nice drinks and snacks, relaxed music and amazing views. The team was so helpful and friendly.

  Amazing experience. Thelma and Alex, our captain and first mate were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make this a memorable experience. We had a double rainbow after a short rain and the final sunset was beautiful. Drinks and snacks were great.
