Beginning from Port de Plaisance Yacht Club in Cole Bay, on the Dutch side of St. Maarten, enjoy a relaxing day on the sparkling turquoise sea and sail to the best spots around St. Maarten / St. Martin. Please note that the suggested travel itinerary below may change based on the weather and sea conditions of the day.
Happy Bay Beach
Enjoy a leisurely morning sail over to the French side, sipping mimosas while nibbling a late-morning snack. We will drop anchor at the secret beach of Happy Bay. Surrounded by 360° of natural beauty, you will enjoy a mid-day Mediterranean-style lunch followed by plenty of time to paddle over to this secluded beach and lounge on the floating lily pad.

The service is 10/10, kind and accommodating staff, even as a vegan they made sure I wasn’t left out and had delicious food to eat. Highly recommend this experience. Thank you so much!

5.00I had such a wonderful time on the catamaran trip yesterday! The whole experience was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The crew is not only professional but also so warm and friendly, which makes you feel completely at ease and well taken care of. This was actually my second time on Freedom, and just like the first time, the food was beyond delicious—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The drinks were also amazing, both original and refreshing, a perfect match for the day at sea. Everything about this trip feels so well done and heart-centered. If you’re looking for a mix of relaxation, fun, and genuine hospitality on the water, I can’t recommend Freedom enough. I’ll definitely be back again

5.00My wife and I arranged a family vacation in St. Maarten and one of the activities that we wanted to enjoy while we were there was a sunset cruise. I checked online for sailing companies that would accommodate 10 people (ages 14 to 70+) on a private sunset cruise and Renegades emerged as a solid choice to contact. After a few email exchanges with Carla to confirm schedule and cost, I was convinced that this was a good choice for family to begin our week in St. Maarten. And after our cruise ended, I can honestly say that we made an excellent decision sailing on their boat, Freedom. Communication with the company was easy, prompt, and helpful. The accommodations on the boat were excellent and comfortable. The crew (Captain Andre and First Mate Diane) were amazing: helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and were able to satisfy the diverse tastes of the 10 of us with a delicious and freshly made selection of tapas, custom made-to-order beverages, and topped off with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. And while preparing this gourmet feast, they also helped everyone engage in some water playtime (swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, etc.). And, of course, a spectacular sunset and family photos to end the evening! The ultimate testament to this fun in the sun was the answer that everyone gave when asked what their favorite memory was during the week on the island. Everyone happily responded that it was the Renegades Sunset Cruise. If you want to experience a delightful evening, day, or longer, on the waters of the Caribbean, I highly recommend checking out Renegades before making your choice to sail.

The attention to details from the food to communicating before the trip to the trip itself was all very seamless and amazing. The boat is in immaculate condition and the food was amazing. 5.00⸻ Best Day Ever with Renegades on Freedom! We had the most amazing day sailing around Saint Maarten with Renegades on their gorgeous boat, Freedom! This was actually our kids’ very first time out on the ocean—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. They got to swim, snorkel, and explore the crystal-clear water, and the crew was absolutely incredible with them—super kind, patient, and made them feel totally comfortable. Watching them experience the ocean for the first time was honestly magical. Meanwhile, we soaked up the sun, sipped delicious cocktails, and kicked back in the shade when we needed a break. The boat was beautiful, super comfy, and the whole vibe was just relaxation and fun from beginning to end. It was the highlight of our trip, hands down. Amazing Catamaran Charter in SXM

5.00We were in SXM for a week. This full day charter was, by far, the absolute highlight of our trip! There were 6 of us on the charter, plus the crew . . . Andre (the Captain) and Diane (hostess/bartender/chef/amazing human). The catamaran is immaculate, has two bathrooms for passenger use, a wonderful shaded spot in the rear of the vessel with seating for breakfast, lunch and snacks, plenty of spots for sunning in the front of the vessel and even places to sit/lay out up top. They even had towels and sunscreen for us to use. If you really want the perfect charter, this is it. They took us everywhere we wanted to go, they had noodles for the water, snorkel gear, a lily pad for lounging in the water and even a stand up paddle board. They served an outstanding breakfast upon our arrival (with champagne). Drinks before, during and in between meals, a grilled lunch with chicken and shrimp, a Greek salad, and baked potatoes . . .amongst other tasty treats, and even ended the day with homemade chocolate chip cookies. We went to multiple beaches and coves, some of which you could not travel to without a boat. It really was the perfect day. Diane and Andre are such great people and did anything and everything to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. If you are looking for a perfectly relaxing and laid back day, where you do not have to think about a thing or want for anything at all, I highly recommend booking with Renegades. You will not be disappointed.

5.00We had a great time with our girls, 6 & 3. We would absolutely bring our young family again. Andre and Diane thought of everything and were wonderful. They hit it off with us and our girls right away. The cabins, food and itinerary was top of the line. We can’t recommend them enough.

5.00Highlight of our trips! 4th incredible excursion with Captain Andre and Diane! Thank you two for spoiling us for my “big” birthday! Our friends were blown away with your 10 star service! The ocean was choppy, but Captain Andre expertly navigated us to some secluded spots including one of our favs - Tintamarre Island where we swam with turtles! Our 1st fabulous experience in January 2024 - from an easy and pleasant booking with Carla to an amazing day aboard the immaculate and well-equipped “Freedom,”Captain Andre and Diane know how to spoil guests! The seas were rough, but Captain Andre expertly navigated to a calm bay in Anguilla where he grilled, and they served us a scrumptious lunch and drinks all day as if we were royalty! The turquoise waters of Anguilla were mesmerizing and crystal clear to see tarpon and other fish while snorkeling, swimming and paddle boarding. Then, October 19, 2024 (2nd trip with Renegades), called a few weeks prior and spoke with Carla to book a celebration for my husband’s “big” birthday on a sunset sail. Carla was professional, super kind and accommodating. Captain Andre and Diane outdid themselves again! Carla had communicated well to them, and they made our evening very special! October 26, 2024, (3rd trip), when we shared a beach day with friends, they encouraged us to book a sunset sail. I reached out to Captain Andre who made it happen! So, my husband and I were blessed to have 2 Highlights of our October 2024 Trip! Thank you, Captain Andre and Diane for your professionalism, hard work and attention to details while making us feel we’ve become great friends! Highly recommend!
