Blending into the surroundings and enhancing the natural elements around us, while maintaining all the comforts and necessities required to create the perfect safari feel and experience was the aim when designing the Lodge. Large spanning decks are nestled and spread out between majestic acacia tress and the unmistakable “Mogotse” bush resembling the horns of a Gemsbok are customary to the Lodge’s ambience. Unlimited access to the the Boteti River either by simply enjoying a refreshing drink and viewing the hippo, crocodiles or abundant birdlife or by a guided Mokoro (Traditional dug out canoe) or Motorboat cruise down the river. Although spread over a massive area the lodge is smalll and intimate allowing for a personalized experience for all guests and enhanced by skilled staff to attend to your every need. The remote location is situated away from all man made distractions allowing one to truly submerge themselves into the splendor of pristine and untouched natural surroundings.

Pick up time may vary according to your schedule. You will be picked up at Maun airport (or surrounding areas) where you will meet your ranger and guide. You will then have time to settle in before leaving on a short stroll along the banks of the Boteti river towards the pools where the animals gather. Here, you can enjoy a sundowner drink. You will have the chance to spot some wildlife with hippos and crocodiles right at the river’s edge. Your experienced guide will point out several interesting aspects of the river and its wildlife during your stroll. (Dependent on water levels and wildlife in the area) You will have some time to freshen up and then join us around the open fire and absorb the magnificence around you while enjoying a delicious and traditionally prepared meal and glass of wine while listening to the calls of the night. (different dietary requirements are catered for) You will overnight in a luxury safari tent.

Enjoy Coffee or tea and some home baked biscuits prepared for you and receive a packed breakfast before an early morning departure on your full day mokoro safari in the Okavango delta including a nature walk Your Mokoro safari will begin as you head out into the many reed channels of the Okavango Delta. Your guide will already have an update of any exciting or special sightings in the area. A stop will be made on one of the many islands to enjoy your packed lunch before heading on a nature walk discovering more of this abundant ecosystem. After some relaxing time you will continue your adventure exploring more of these unlimited channels and choosing to stop at any other islands as you may please. Your long day on safari will end typically with drinks of your choice on the wooden deck overlooking the sunset. Followed by dinner under the stars in the open Boma. You will overnight in a luxury safari tent.

Enjoy coffee or tea and some home baked biscuits prepared for you and receive a packed breakfast before an early morning departure on your full day open vehicle safari in the Moremi game reserves. Experience Moremi in an open game vehicle specially converted, allowing one to absorb and experience sightings with all of your senses when up and close to wildlife. A packed lunch will be served in style by your guide at one of the beautiful rest camps along the way. Your long day on safari will end typically with drinks of your choice on the wooden deck overlooking the sunset over the Boteti river while the coolness of the evening sets in, discussing all the excitement and amazing sightings of the day. Followed by dinner typically under the stars in the open Boma. You will overnight in a luxury safari tent.

The sounds of the bush will wake you up on this beautiful morning. A delicious breakfast and freshly brewed coffee will be served. Today you will enjoy a scenic fight over the Okavango Delta. You can choose between an aircraft or a helicopter. Take in views of the beautiful channels that meander through the papyrus-fringed waterways, passing palm-covered islands. Gear up for high chances of heart-stopping excitement and big game viewing. Sightseeing from from the sky will give you the ultimate view of the Okavango Delta's spectacular geography and wildlife. There's no better way to grasp the outstanding beauty of the Okavango Delta region. Afterwards, you will have some time to freshen up and then join us around the open fire and enjoy your last night in Botswana. You will overnight in a luxury safari tent.

3.00The tents have been great - 5 points for that minus 1 because there was not the promised water heater there). Food was also very nice - but only 3-4 points because you could not get more, have no choice and always at fixed times. Drinks sometimes run out. Mokori trip an the camp and the flight also okay (5 points) but for real safari you are one the road for 45-60 Minutes (longer Mokori trip with bush walk) or 3 hours (so six with return) for the game drive to Moremi. That makes absolutely no sense - 1 point. WiFi very slow and only in the meeting tent und all in all we had to pay in cash, because (widi was working) the card machine had no connection. So: There are better places in town and for safaris you really have to think about if it is not better to take a camp on the national park.

3.00The camp is very good, clean and comfortable, good food and great staff. The problem is the program - it’s actually 2 days of excursions and 4 nights at the camp. First day, after arrival there is a 2 hours boat trip on a river - very good and interesting. Second day, after late breakfast two hours drive to take the boat once more (extremely uncomfortable) to go to the island , arriving at the hottest hours of the day and walking, supposedly to look for animals, which everybody knows that at these hours are hidden. After two hours walk on the sun and seeing nothing, another boat trip back and drive. Third day is a Moremi trip. Great, but it’s a 4 hours drive, you are arriving once more , when most animal are hiding because of the heat. Than is a few hours drive to see nothing and when the animals are starting to go out and can be seen again in the evening , you have to leave, because it’s another 4 hours drive back . You’ve spend 8 hours to go there and back and 5 on site, seeing nothing during the game drive . The only animals you can see is when you enter -last hours in the morning and first in the evening when you leave. And hours of game drive in hottest hours in the sun are kind of misunderstanding. You are driving back, instead of spend the night in park with the evening and next morning game drive just to spend the next fourth day, doing absolutely nothing, except the 45 minutes scenic flight, that is really nice experience. The fifth day just doesn’t exist, as that’s the day to drive you back to the town or the airport, that can be done the day before.
