  Dina was the most amazing tour guide ever! This tour included all the sites I wanted to see. All the entrance tickets were arranged in advance so no hassle of waiting in lines. Dina shared so much knowledge about the history of all the sites and really made the tour come to life through her passion for Egyptian history. She was very patient in answering all my questions, taking pictures, and giving plenty of time to explore the sites. The local falafel lunch was delicious. Our driver for the day was very professional and very nice. Most definitely recommend!

• Even with small kids

  Mohsen was a fabulous guide. We had two very small kids with us and he was very accommodating, even stayed with the toddler while climbed down into a tomb that we didn't want to take her into. Communication was great and we'd certainly do it again.

  Remon was very accommodating and honest with us about a lot of things. He went out of his way to help us get a SIM card and a bunch of water while we're at the cruise (it was a lot cheaper that way because the cruise wifi was $10 a day and we wouldn't have service outside of the ship). It was nice having him let us know when to tip and how much for different things. He was able to help us answer any questions we had and I appreciate being able to see less touristy things with him as well! It was nice when there were times he would open up about his life and family a bit but we do wish he would share more! Remon did a good job of helping us manage the persistent street salespeople which made our trip more enjoyable.   Awesome tour to see the main highlights of Luxor in a short period of time. Remon our guide had really good English and was full of little stories which make the experience really fun and unforgettable. Transportation in private van with AC was great, they take care of buying the entrance tickets for us which was also super convenient. We highly recommend.

  I booked this tour through Hesham Egypt Tour Guide. This company has delivered over and over this entire trip to Egypt. This tour was incredible and the value you get out of this tour is a BANG for your buck. It started early when our tour guide (Egyptologist) Bassem Khames and our driver picked us up at the hotel after breakfast. We had already gone out on a sunrise hot air balloon ride also through Hesham. Bassem first took us back to the West Bank where the balloon ride started and we went to the place that was the reason I added Luxor to our trip. The Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. He educated us that there are currently 62 tombs that have been discovered. King Tut was the last one. We got to go inside of several tombs including King Merenptah, King Rhameses VI and of course King Tut. I had chills seeing King Tut up close, his mummy is actually there and it was simply breathtaking. He only ruled Egypt for seven or eight years and died at 18, perhaps murdered by the next King Ai who took over. Tutankhamun was never thought to be a legit king because his mother was a common woman. His stepmother however was the great Queen Nefertiti. After seeing the Kings, Bassem took us to see one of the greatest rulers in Egyptian history, Queen Hatshepsut (or hot chicken soup as he called it to help us remember)...LOL. This was one of the most grand things I've ever seen in my life and it sits in a valley by itself with its stairs leading to the three levels of the temple. We ended the West Bank by seeing the temple of Amenhetep guarded by the gigantic Colossi of Memnon. On the East Bank back where our hotel was, he took us to the Luxor temple and finally one the largest temples in the world, the Karnak Temple. We chose not to do the evening light show but I heard it was amazing. We also got to go to a papyrus store and learn the history of the papyrus tree and even bought some artwork. Finally we went to an authentic essence shop where we bought some fragrances. Overall, as you can see we learned an incredible amount of history. I took notes on my phone because I love this stuff. We are so thankful for Bassem and our driver who dragged us around patiently all day long from spot to spot. I highly recommend this tour by Hesham Egypt Tour Guides. Very professional. Very efficient and very punctual. You will not regret it. Matter of fact, book everything with him in multiple cities across Egypt. We did.   Brilliant day with Dina and great driver. We arrived early from Cairo and she picked us up at the airport and we began an amazing day at the Valley of Kings and much more to learn about this amazing city. Ended with the best temple visit ever (should be a wonder of the world !). Thank you Dina. And all reading please ask for her as amazing wonderful guide for us 🙂

  We went on a tour with Remun who was a great guide who knew what he was talking about, which should be the case given his 4 years of studying Egyptology in Cairo University. He not only was very clear in explaining the various eras of Egyptian history and how they related to the sites we visited, but could also answer random questions as to why drawing and symbols differs even slightly from each other. We were very impressed. In addition, he organised a private felucca sunset tour for us, which was amazing and well worth the money. Highly recommend.

  Our guide Dina added so much to our experience in Luxor. She was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history, politics, and religion of ancient egypt. She even offered to cover us for some of the sights as we hadn't withdrawn enough cash in the morning. The monuments on the tour are unbelievable and all transportation is covered, including a beautiful ferry across the Nile. Our driver Hani was very polite and even as someone who usually far prefers traveling without a tour or guide, this tour was a great way to see Luxor and I would highly recommend to anyone.

  Our tour guide was Dina and our driver was Hani. Dina was a very well informed tour guide and gave us a lot of context and information regarding the tombs, monuments and even hieroglyphs. We had a lovely lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Nile (there was another fancier option, on an island). Dina was also great with taking our photos and giving us free time to walk around on our own. The driver was courteous and the car was comfortable. I would recommend this tour if you have a day to visit luxor.
