Marina del Rey began as an estuary frequented by fishermen and duck hunters, but in 1965 became the largest man-made, small-craft harbour in the country. 3.00Overall it was a good experience. The captain, Max, was masterful getting us around the marina, showing us interesting sites, finding sea lions and giving interesting information about what we were seeing. But he was too free about sharing information about himself, personal information, stuff that made us a bit uncomfortable hearing. The other negative was that along with the wine and charcuterie which was very nice, there should be bottles of water on board for the passengers.

1.00The boat goes max 6mph and stays only In the marina. One spot of sea lions. Boring two hours. Guide provided next to zero narration Do not recommend.

5.00Everything about this tour was amazing, from the communication prior or directions and parking to the beautiful eboat ride. Beautiful day spotting wildlife and chatting with Maxx who we really enjoyed. 10/10

5.00We didn’t see many sea lions but the company was amazing and the drinks were fantastic! I would do this again but ONLY with Captain Sean 🥰 he knows how to get the party started. 10/10
