We enjoyed sampling local delicacies from several merchants and ended the tour with a delicious meal. 5.00Our Secret Food Tours Lyon was a highlight of our 3 day stay in this top 2025 gastronomic destinations. Forget about Paris, the top gastronomic destination in France is located in Lyon, and our tour guide, Cybil, knew all the best of the best locations in old town Lyon. We ate and toured the historic old town lyon district, which took us through the twists and turns of Lyon's streets as well as it's history, which made it a melting pot of flavors from the Roman history to it's current international fusion of influences on French cuisine. This is a must do tour when you have the benefit of visiting this truly gastronomic gem.
