Pleasant tours in languages NL/DE/ENG at 11.00 or 15.00 hrs. but time-flexible ( family, couples or group of max. 15 pers. ). The tour starts at the car parking St. Pieters fortress & mountain ( called the Eye ). First we see the fortress and a nice walk over the mountain brings us to excellent viewpoints : dreamy Jekerdal, the oehoe owl-valley and the spectacular viewing platform limestone quarry/canyon ( also finish Pietertrail ). With a interval at Hoeve Lichtenberg viewpoint and the Slavante terrace & vineyard we walk along the Maria cave and André Rieu castle back to the fortres and carparking. The walk is a mix of heritage and nature. You can customize the tour with a walk through the limestone quarry.

5.00The favorite part of the hike were all the beautiful views! The guide guided us well and we saw places of Maastricht that we would not normally visit. Besides all the beautiful views it was also very educational. We learned a lot about the city and its history. This is also certainly thanks to the guide who has provided a nice walk. However, good shoes are necessary, but definitely recommended!

5.00Rene is a friendly and warm guide and as a native of Maastricht is ready and willing share his knowledge and stories of the history and life in the town. Rene met us at the hotel and took us for a 3 hour stroll around the sights of Maastricht and up to the hill of Saint Peter with some beautiful views across the city. We would highly recommend a tour of Maastricht with Rene
