I would highly recommend TreXperience. From start to finish, their service was exceptional. Jasmine handled all our pre‑trip planning brilliantly — organising our tours, extra hotel nights, equipment hire, and every logistical detail. Communication was smooth and reassuring, and we were met at the airport exactly as arranged. Before each tour, our guides contacted us via WhatsApp with briefings and answers to any questions, which made everything feel effortless. We booked the 8 days / 7 nights tour involving: - half day Cusco City Tour (Rene was great and very knowledgeable!), -the sacred valley tour (thank you team - lots of amazing sights - fascinating!), - Rainbow Valley - jaw dropping views at high altitudes. A huge thank you to Guide Jacob for all your support, the driver and the chefs for the fantastic insight into the wonderful food - delivered “Trexperience style”) But…. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the 4‑day Classic Inca Trail with the panoramic train return. Our guides, Danny and Roberto, were outstanding — knowledgeable, supportive, and full of great stories. They looked after us with genuine care every step of the way. Our chef, Zenobio, and his team prepared incredible meals. Every dish felt like a feast, and somehow they even produced a huge birthday cake on the trail. We were never able to finish the generous spreads, and safe drinking water was always available. Head Porter Bernardo and his amazing porter team were the true heroes of the trek — setting up all the tents (kitchen, dining, sleeping, and even the toilet tent), carrying the equipment, our duffels and even one of our party when she was injured, and doing it all with good humour and kindness. The trek itself was unforgettable: iconic views, breathtaking landscapes, and wonderful camaraderie. Ending with the panoramic train, dancing to Peruvian music while watching the scenery roll by, was the perfect finale. A genuine trip of a lifetime, delivered with remarkable attention to detail and heartfelt care.

Had the loveliest time on the Classic 4 day Inca Trail. Our guide Daniel and his assistant Roberto were hilarious, knowledgeable, reliable and the best guides we could’ve hoped for. I learnt so much about Incan history from them and felt safe and supported the entire hike. The food was incredibly delicious thanks to our chef Zenobio, we were never left hungry or unsatisfied and dietary requirements were catered to without issue. The porters too worked so incredibly hard. I have absolutely nothing to fault, it was a trip of a lifetime and I would recommend Trexexperience to anyone looking to experience this adventure.

This was one of the most amazing trips I have ever experienced! It was unforgettable—full of adventure, surprises, history, and breathtaking scenery. Our guides, Daniel and Roberto, also known as the legendary “Mucho Wow Wow Inca Trail” team, were simply the best. They took such great care of us throughout the entire journey. I have never felt so well looked after before. They were incredibly attentive, experienced, and always seemed to know exactly what we needed. They prepared us for the challenges of the hike and constantly encouraged us to keep going and reach the finish. Daniel is an incredible storyteller. During lunch and dinner, he entertained us with fascinating stories and life experiences that always left us smiling and laughing. He is also an excellent history teacher. Along the trail, he shared his extensive knowledge of the Inca sites, bringing their history to life. Listening to him made it feel as if the ancient world had come alive again. Daniel and Head Chef Zenobio gave me an unforgettable birthday surprise by making a huge chocolate cake for me. I still cannot believe they managed to create such a beautiful cake in the middle of the mountains during the hike. It was the most unique and memorable birthday celebration I have ever had, and I was deeply touched by their kindness and thoughtfulness. Of course, I must also mention our world-class chef, Zenobio. Every meal he prepared was outstanding. He introduced us to classic Peruvian dishes, and every single meal was a “wow” experience. I never imagined that we could enjoy food worthy of a five-star restaurant while trekking on the Inca Trail. It was truly incredible. Words cannot express how grateful I am to Daniel, Roberto, Zenobio, and the entire team. I hope many more hikers will have the opportunity to experience the same care, passion, and hospitality that they provide. Until you experience it yourself, it is hard to understand just how extraordinary it is.

We completed the 4-day trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with TreXperience, and our expectations were exceeded in every single way. From the organization to the execution, everything was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you goes to our guides, Daniel and Roberto. The two of them were simply fantastic! With their deep knowledge of Inca culture and their contagious motivation, they made this hike an unforgettable experience. Thanks to them, you feel right at home on the trek and have an incredible amount of fun with the group and Daniel’s stories. Another absolute highlight was the food: What the chef, Zenobio, whipped up three times a day in the middle of the mountains is nothing short of a miracle. It was incredibly delicious, varied, and gave us the necessary energy for the challenging passes. We would also like to thank Bernado, the head porter, and his entire team. What these guys accomplish is absolutely admirable. Thanks to Bernado's great coordination, our camp was always perfectly prepared by the time we arrived. If you want to hike the Inca Trail, you should absolutely do it with TreXperience. We recommend them from the bottom of our hearts!

My friend and I did the Classic 4 day Inca Trail hike. This was my first time joining a multi day hiking tour like this, and I wasn't too sure what to expect. I could now say our 4-day Inca Trail trek was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it was made possible by the incredible team behind it. Starting with the porters; Bernardo's team of porters were the epitome of hard work, strength, and dedication. They made navigating challenging terrain seem a cakewalk, even carrying our fellow hiker who sustained an injury during the hike. They carried the majority of our load, enabling us to only carry the essentials as we trekked, and did all the tent setups and takedowns so we could simply relax after our day. Our main guide Daniel was exceptional. Danny's knowledge of Incan history, culture, and the surrounding environment brought the trail to life. He is a master storyteller, captivating us with stories and history lessons throughout the trek. Also worthy of mentioning was the daily briefing he provided, prepping us on timing and what to expect for each coming day. Our assistant guide Roberto was professional, hard working, and always made great effort to communicate and attend to the needs of the group. A special mention must go to head chef Zenobio, whose creativity and resourcefulness blew my mind. It was hard to believe the quality and variety of meals that were prepared in such remote mountain conditions. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and provided the perfect fuel for each day's hike. The ingenuity of the kitchen team was truly remarkable. Last but not least was the Inca Trail itself. The hike was amazing. We were blessed with great weather. The trail was simply breathtaking, literally and figuratively!! From cloud forests and mountain passes to ancient archaeological sites, every day offered jaw-dropping views and unforgettable moments. Reaching Machu Picchu at sunrise with our family of hikers was the perfect culmination of the journey. Thank you to Daniel, Roberto, Zenobio, Bernardo and the entire team for creating such an extraordinary adventure. I sit here writing this review with my heart full of gratitude. I would highly recommend this tour operator to anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized, and unforgettable Inca Trail experience.

My friends and I finished this tour today and could not recommend this tour enough!!! We were blessed to have our amazing guides Daniel and Roberto to make this such a memorable experience and support us every step of the way. They both helped us all create memories we will cherish forever and there were plenty of stories, laughs and new friendships along the way. It is an extremely friendly and social environment to be a part of. Daniel had exceptional knowledge about the inca trail and its history and was a gifted storyteller. Both Dan and Roberto were also extremely organised and we felt in safe hands. They were able to adapt plans to suit all levels of hikers and abilities. The tour far exceeded our expectations. All the porters work tirelessly from the start until the end of the day and always greeted us with smiles. In particular, Zenobio was our chef who created absolutely delicious meals. You will not be disapppointed or go hungry! No same dishes were repeated and the food was incredibly creative and catered for all dietary requirements. Plenty of surprises along the way, and a lovely relaxing finish to the tour on the panoramic train. There was nothing like walking through the sun gate and the special experience of seeing Macchu Picchu for the first time. The day at Macchu Picchu is very well organised and informative with a full guided tour of Circuit 1 and 3 of the site. I left feeling accomplished and so grateful for the journey with the group. Please choose Trexperience for a trip and memories to last a life time! Thank you so much.

The Inca Trail was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Peru. The trail itself is stunning — the landscapes change constantly, from cloud forest to high mountain passes to ancient ruins hidden in the jungle. The views are breathtaking, and walking into Machu Picchu on the final day through the Sun Gate is something we will never forget. What made it even more special was the historical context — getting to see lesser-known Inca sites along the way and learning how everything connects to the bigger story of the Inca civilization. You really feel the history with every step. Our team made the difference. Our guide Alex was simply the best guide we could have asked for. He answered every single question with patience and depth, explained the history and meaning of every site in a way that brought it to life, and went out of his way to support us whenever we had any small issue — from blisters to stomach trouble, he was always there with advice or a solution. His passion for what he does is contagious. Chef Ferdinand cooked the most amazing meals — we honestly didn't expect food of that quality on a mountain trek. Every meal felt like a small celebration. And the porters were incredible — strong, kind, and always smiling despite carrying so much. We can't thank this team enough. One small piece of honest feedback that has nothing to do with TreXperience itself: after Machu Picchu, you end up in Aguas Calientes with 2-3 hours to fill before the train, and the town is very touristy and not the most enjoyable end to such a beautiful experience. The train ride itself with the on-board dance show and fashion show wasn't quite our style either — but again, this is on the train company, not on TreXperience. Just something future trekkers might want to know to set expectations. Overall — an absolutely unforgettable experience and we would do it again in a heartbeat with this team. Thank you, Alex, Ferdinand and the porters!
