Madu River wetland consists of many mangrove islets. It has high ecological, biological and aesthetic significance, being home to approximately 303 species of plants belonging and to 248 species of animals. The Madu River is also a Ramsar declared Wetland.
The activity will be hosted by a university graduate who has a wast knowledge about nature and adventure outdoor living.

5.00I recently had an amazing experience with a kayaking service in Madugaga. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured all safety protocols were followed, providing clear instructions on paddling techniques. The kayaks and safety gear were in excellent condition, and I felt confident throughout the entire outing. The kayaking route was scenic and serene, offering beautiful views that made the adventure unforgettable. Thank you Serendib Adventures.

5.00We were there after the party till mid night. Kayaking instructor was a real friendly guy with plenty of experience in the field. He welcome us to the river & kayaking activity middle of no where we had snacks on our kayaks. It made my day with new experience enjoy the fresh environment while having snacks on boat. Engine boat was with us until we finish the tour & really recommend this adventure enthusiastic kayaking tour to enjoy.

5.00I had an amazing sunrise kayaking experience with Serendib on the Madu River. Our guide was not only professional but also very friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Paddling under the mangrove canopy as the sun rose was absolutely stunning. The tranquility of the river and the beauty of the surroundings truly made this a memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Sri Lanka.

5.00That was a lifetime experience! Thank you Serendib and the team. Everything was coordinated very well and we were having the best two days of our life kayaking and in the night camp with fire! Truly amazing and Highly recommended!
