5.00A wonderful full day tour in English to Tzintzuntzan, Convento de Santa Ana, Patzcuaro and Janitzio island. Manuel was a fantastic guide, answering our many questions and adapting the tour for our interests, including an unscheduled drop-in to an award winning artisan chocolateria on the way home! We learned a lot about the history and culture of Morelia and of Mexico. We booked the tour direct with TTM (the office is very near the cathedral in Morelia) - our original booking via Tripadvisor did not go through to the company. Also Tripadvisor info and prices are out of date.
Patzcuaro from the inside out. Not to be missed.

5.00This was the best cultural and historical tour we've taken anywhere! Our guide Jaime, is a lifelong Patzcuaro resident, with not just knowledge but also a passion for history and indigenous languages. Plus he personally knows the most famous artisans, who would open their shops and also their workshops and even homes to us. The majority of our group are artisans themselves with many questions about techniques. He adjusted our destinations throughout the day, after hearing our comments. Excellent English, warm, funny, personal...a pleasure to be with.
