Located 48kms out of Siem Reap through the stunning Cambodian countryside is Phnom Kulen, considered a holy mountain in Cambodia and of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists who come in pilgrimage, Phnom Kulen is also the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable and experienced local guide who will give you an insight into the history, lifestyle and culture of rural Cambodia throughout the day.
Highlights of the trip include some truly stunning natural scenery, a huge reclining Buddha, riverbed carvings, early Khmer temples and a beautiful waterfall. The open-sided vintage Jeeps are a fantastic way to take in the scenery along the way.
