After a short ferry ride from Townsville to the paradise of Magnetic Island, you'll board a luxury sailing yacht for a few hours of sailing, relaxation, fun and a delicious grazing platter.

Sail along the breathtaking Magnetic Island coastline with its impressive granite boulders and hoop pines before anchoring in one of the secluded bays. There you'll have plenty of time to have a swim, stroll on the beach and relax, before enjoying a locally sourced grazing platter served with organic wines and local beers or soft drinks.

While at anchor experience the local wildlife up close and personal - observe batfish and other reef fish, kites, sea eagles, and turtles.

Our friendly, knowledgeable crew will share insights into the area and its vibrant marine life. They will also give you the opportunity to steer the yacht or learn a bit about sailing during your journey, if you wish.

Beautiful experience for first timers on a sail boat. Absolutely perfect from booking to the personal yhe Beautiful food drinks and the Pilgrim itself is absolutely stunning

Brilliant lunch platter & included drinks - really 1st class. Crew were very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable - deck topside was comfortable & clean (didn't go below!). My only observation would be that I'd have preferred more sailing time, but I'd likely be alone within the group of 6 others abord for this trip. Stinger suits / floating inflatable raft provided, & resident eagle at Radical Bay, Magnetic Island that caught fish thrown in the air - pretty cool! All in all, very enjoyable day out from Townsville.

I booked a sunset sail as a present for my friend’s birthday and it was just perfect. Claire and the team were so accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience possible. I cannot recommend Pilgrim Sailing enough. It’s an absolute must for anyone visiting Magnetic Island or Townsville.
