5.00We like to start a city tour with a guided walk and this time we decided to take the free walking tour from Walkative. The tour took place in German, which we found very pleasant and therefore gladly chose this provider. The two-and-a-half-hour tour with a good 20 people started on time, was extremely informative, entertaining and took us to the sights of the historical center of Gdańsk. But there were also tips for restaurants and the recommendation for the cherry liqueur at and from Wisniewski was really good and "tasty". And most importantly: Many thanks to Ela, who mastered this leadership confidently, competently and loosely in easy-to-understand German. Conclusion: Walkative in Gdansk is really unreservedly recommended!

5.00Thank you Tufi for sharing Gdansk with us. It was great to have a guide who is so passionate about his home town. A cheap Ryanair flight may have got us here but we are loving the feel of Gdansk and appreciating both it's history and it's architecture. Recommend getting on one of these tours near to the start of your stay to make sense of the main & old city as well as the importance of the river & docks. Tufi pointed out lots of details and shared stories that enriched our time around the city. Very moving to end the tour at the Polish Post Office of Free Gdansk and hear of those who died there in 1939. This is a pay as you wish tour - don't pre-pay on any other websites rather give the money directly to your tour guide at the end.

5.00Kate lead an amazing tour through the streets of Gdansk. The pace of the tour was great and Kate was very considerate of the group offering a break midway through and could always find cosy areas for us to stop to be in the sunshine . Would recommend this very much helped me find my way around.

5.00This was an excellent walking tour. Our guide ZOSIA was amazing, very interesting and although the tour is 2.5 hours, it flew by. ZOSIA was an extremely good guide, she was happy to answer questions and she's very friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend Walkative to others.

5.00A fantastic tour to learn about the rich history of Gdansk, from it's founding up until the present day. Explore tremendous architectural jems, discover the ingenuity of the reconstruction of the city and hear the history of key events like tje founding of the Teutonic Order, the Solidarnośc movement and the fall of the Iron Curtain. All expertly told by our tour guide, Zosia, who was so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. A huge thank you.
