The dumpling-making class was an absolute delight! Chef Yin is warm and patient and guided us step by step from preparing the filling to mastering the tricky folding and sealing of each dumpling just right. It’s harder than it looks, but so much fun! Beyond the hands-on cooking, the evening turned into a nice cultural exchange. As our fingers fumbled with wrappers, we chatted about Chinese traditions and history, turning a simple cooking lesson into a rich, immersive experience. It was a uniquely joyful and insightful way to spend an evening in Shanghai. Highly recommended for anyone who loves food, learning, and genuine connection.
