Your day pass includes return coach connections and vessel transfers.
Malamala Island is situated on a little slice of heaven, just a short 25-minute vessel transfer from Port Denarau. Picture powder white sand and crystal clear water like a scene pulled straight from a postcard. Small enough to stroll barefoot around the island in 20 minutes, large enough to feel like your deserted paradise. Malamala Beach Club is fully equipped with everything you need to switch off, unwind and chill out.
Eat & Drink
Sunlight and breezy, our dining areas cater to anything from poolside snacking to relaxed seated dining. Inspired by our chefs’ rich experience throughout the South Pacific, each dish is balanced, nourishing, and full of fresh Pacific flavours. Expect small bites through to substantial sharing platters, with a few treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. The food menu is complemented by a selection of imported wines, beers, and handcrafted tropical cocktails.

You must contact South Sea Cruises at least 24 hours before your activity date to confirm your reservation and arrange your coach transfers.
Hotel pickups from Nadi/Wailoaloa start from 8.40am, Denarau -9.15am and Coral Coast 7.25am
Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time. Hotels and times are shown on our coach timetable on our website
Passengers staying in Nadi, Wailoaloa and Denarau area depart Port Denarau at 09.30am and can depart Malamala Beach Club at 4:15 or 5.15
Passengers staying in the Coral Coast area depart Denarau at 10.00am and depart Malamala Beach Club at 4.15 to connect with the free coach transfers.
If you do not require pick up, please find your own way to the meeting point - South Sea Cruises Check-in Counter at the Passenger Terminal, Denarau Marina
In the event of adverse weather and sea conditions, we retain the right to cancel all water-based activities, including snorkeling, paddleboarding and kayaking.

5.00Such a beautiful and relaxing place. We went there with friends the day before my Fiji wedding and it was the perfect spot to chill out and spend quality time with our group. Service is great and staff are very friendly.

4.00we went to the Beach Club mainly for the snorkeling opportunity. It was fantastic! Plenty of fish, a few sharks (5ft) hiding in the rocks, some small black tipped sharks, beautiful coral and warm water. It was a good day. The food was just ok. I ordered the Thai cabbage salad, it was edible but not earth shattering. The service was incredible though, their staff was superb in their customer service. The whole operation was run very well.

4.00Even though it was windy and sea a bit choppy, the snorkelling was amazing! So much plate coral & colourful fish. The only negative was we booked directly in South seas office where we were given misinformation which left us without our bus transfer back to hotel (which is included in the price). So had to find our own way back to hotel. Staff at Mala Mala very friendly. Island paradise.

5.00The island is very nice and the fish are visible in abundance (next to the pontoon). Be careful the meal and drink service is not included, it is a little more expensive than in Nadi.

5.00Malamala Island through South Sea Cruises is a must-do on your trip to Fiji. The staff are friendly, the food delicious, and the treasures to find (and leave on the island, just bring pictures and memories home) are beautiful!

5.00An amazing experience! The island is so beautiful and looks just like the photos. They give you snorkelling gear, paddle boards and kayaks to use while there as well. The food and drinks were delicious, we enjoyed it so much we went back two days later for the half day trip.
Would still do this but only if the weather was going to be good!

4.00If the weather turns, you will be inside or as under cover as you can be for quite some time, so make sure you take something to do (a book?) and take something to keep you warm as it can get quite cold when it's wet and windy. The staff were lovely despite our day been hampered by a storm! Didn't get to do any activities (we chose not to - they were still available) as the water was rough. Make sure you take ample spending money as everything is quite expensive. It was good to have done it but I wouldn't do it again. I would recommend it if you haven't done it though. It's the kind of thing you should do at least once.

5.00Wow what an experience. From the moment we stepped on the island I had a ball. Such a beautiful place but what made it extra special was the service I got from Simi my waiter. He was really exceptional from the get go!
