The history of Mdina traces back more than 4000 years. According to tradition it was here that in 60 A.D. that the Apostle St. Paul is said to have lived after being shipwrecked on the Islands. Furthermore it is said that St. Paul resided inside the grotto know as Fuori le Mura (outside the city walls) now known as St. Paul's Grotto in Rabat. Lamp lit by night and referred to as "the silent city", Mdina is fascinating to visit for its timeless atmosphere as well as its cultural and religious treasures.
Blue Grotto Il-Hnejja
The Blue Grotto is located on the southern coast of Malta, west of Wied iz-Zurrieq facing the little deserted islet of Filfla. The site got its name from a British soldier who thought that since the area looks like the Grotta Azzurra in Capri, it deserves the same name, and in fact Blue Grotto is the equivalent for Grotta Azzurra in English. The site is extremely popular, attracting some 100,000 tourists per year, also for diving purposes. The site also features in the film Troy (2004) starring Brad Pitt. The location of this fascinating natural grotto combines with sunlight and the surrounding chain of caves to reflect the phosphorescent colours of the submerged flora and the deep dark shade of blue of the sea.

5.00Our tour guide/driver Justin got the balance right of when taking about the tour and allowing us to take in the country's beauty in silence. Justin took us to the main highlights of Malta, he was puntual, accommodating and his transport was clean & tidy. It was definitely worth doing.

5.00I booked this experience for myself and 4 of my friends. We were looking for a casual experience to explore the Island of Malta. Justin was a great driver and made many wonderful suggestions of things for us to see throughout the day. He was very prompt and never made us feel rushed at any place we stopped. He was able to offer some background on some of the sites we visited and even took us to some places we had not heard about. Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a casual way to see the different areas of Malta.

5.00Great trip. We picked our itinerary and had ample time at each location. It was very convenient travelling in an air conditioned vehicle in the heat. The vehicle was clean, new and of a high standard. The guide was very informative.

5.00Our driver was so nice. He took us to the best spot for lunch and we beat all the large tours to all the tourist spots. When we were leaving they were arriving. It was so nice. It was also completely customizable. So if we wanted to skip certain things or spend more time it was perfect. We never felt rushed.
The best option if you want to see much in short time!

5.00Our driver Abigail provided us with an unforgettable experience. We managed to get this ride at the last minute because we were in Malta for a very short time and this option turned out to be the best we could do. I would recommend it to everyone. Abigail is a calm, cheerful and patient girl who adapts to your personal schedule as much as possible. She arrives on time, does everything as agreed, unobtrusive, flexible and always ready to give advice. I would recommend it to everyone!
