Hop aboard one of our safe, comfortable, and clean US Coast Guard certified vessels where you will join your Master Captain to embark on your journey into the Kings Bay refuge waters. Our master captains are trained to find manatees on your manatee tour, even in the offseason, and will deliver the best manatee tour in Crystal River, FL—every time. You will be paired with one of our expert in-water guides who will be with you every step of the way to assist in making your manatee tour safe and memorable. Your in-water guide will also serve as your professional photographer to capture your manatee swim memories, and those photos will be available for purchase upon arrival back to our facility. For this tour, all required gear is included at no additional charge.
You can swim with manatees in Citrus County, Florida. Swimming with the manatees is a privilege that is unique to Citrus County, which is why the small county has earned its world famous title of the ‘Manatee Capital of the World’. 5.00Our tour is at 7:15 AM. There are only 3 people so I feel like having a private tour. They serve hot tea and hot chocolate. Faith who is our guide show us video what to do when we are in the water. She make sure the wet suits is fitting us.Captain Tyler and Faith took us to the right spot. We saw dolphins on the way. Captain Tyler let us watch it for a while. At the spot, Manatee came to us when we floated. Faith took a lot of nice pictures. We can purchase at the end with reasonable price. In fact it cheaper than I thought. They gave us all digital pictures that she took. I am happy with the tour. The water is clear and nice.

5.00We had an amazing time on the Mantee Swim Tour — truly a lifetime experience! Ben and Captain JQ were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire tour. They took great care of us, made sure we felt safe, and created such a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The tour was well organized, professional, and absolutely unforgettable. 5.00The experience was awesome!! The staff and tour guides were super friendly and explained everything in great detail that was easy to understand. Made sure that everyone in the group got to see a manatee and asked multiple times if anyone didn’t see one yet. They made sure no one was left out.

5.00We did the Private Manatee Tour with Kelly and Madeleine and it was absolutely AMAZING! The weather was perfect, and it was the very first day of Manatee Season, which made it even more special. We did an early morning tour and saw so many manatees — we felt like true manatee-finding experts by the end! We also did the Private Manatee Viewing Tour the night before and got to watch the most beautiful sunset. Kelly and Madeleine were incredible guides: knowledgeable, fun, and so passionate about what they do. Explorida made our whole experience unforgettable — highly, highly recommend!

5.00Unbelievable experience which was expertly delivered by Madeleine in the water and Kevin on the boat. We swam with about 5-6 different manatees, including a mother and baby. It was careful & respectful - we were well briefed beforehand on how to behave and Madeleine made sure we behaved appropriately in the water. I still can’t believe how wonderful it was to share water with and observe these amazing creatures. What a privilege.

5.00Unforgettable experience, seeing the manatees so close was a privilege, our guides were at the top and brought us to the right spots and gave us good practices to allow these peaceful giants to approach us! The water was cool but we were able to warm up in the boat with a hot chocolate served by the crew. I recommend 100%
