Mangrove Cay is a haven for marine and bird wildlife. In the channels and shallows surrounding the cay, it’s common to sight juvenile lemon sharks and nurse sharks, small turtles, conch, southern brown stingrays, starfish, and many types of juvenile fish. The sheltering and complex root systems of the larger mangrove trees often hide schools of tiny fish. Birdwatching is also great, and sightings include brown pelicans, green herons, tricolored herons, reddish egrets, and American oystercatchers.

5.00Such an amazing experience. Our tour guide was Archie. He made me feel very comfortable kayaking and was attentive since this was my first time. We got to see some turtles, baby lemon sharks and conch. 10/10

5.00Fantastic experience! From pick up to drop, everything was great . We saw so many turtles, jelly fish and lemon sharks. Our guide Achie was incredible and made sure everyone had an opportunity to get a great view of the lemon sharks. Highly recommend.

5.00Bring sunscreen, your swimsuit, and learn something new. The communication and pickup/drop is off were flawless. Our guide Mikey was patient, funny, and so knowledgeable. We saw turtles, jellyfish and conch. 10/10 experience

5.00From pick up to drop off and everything in between it was outstanding. My best friend and I had a lot of laughs and it was all done with ease and care. Archie, our guide was exceptional and we highly recommend this trip. We were able to spot turtles, a shark and jellyfish and paddling and the kayaks were in great shape. This is a must do.

5.00Our tour guide, Archie, was terrific and spotted so many turtles along the way. He kept our teenage son engaged the whole time. Have been coming to TCI for years to snorkel but the mangroves are an area of TCI we had not explored before and so glad we did. Go on the earliest trip possible as it seemed to get crowded with kayaks as we were finishing up. Saw several turtles, jellies, conch, and one baby lemon shark.
