Paddle hidden mangrove tunnels, spot wildlife, and unwind on the pristine beach of Shell Key. A 2.5-3 hour tour, including about 30 minutes of beach time. This tour is perfect for nature lovers and those who want to get a little bit of everything out of their kayak tour. All experience levels welcome.

***DECEMBER: Your guide will take holiday themed photos of you and your group (props included) at the beach. Photos from your experience are emailed to each group for no additional cost!

**MOST tours are booked as private tours. We enjoy being able to cater to each specific goups' interests and abilities. If you are a group that would prefer not having a private experience, just reach out and we will keep the time slot open for more people to join!

My kids and I try to kayak in all the places we vacation and we could not have asked for a better tour than with Local Tide! Taylor was so knowledgable, personable, and made the most of our time on the tour. We saw so much bird and aquatic life and found the most amazing shells. She took us through tunnels explaining the wonders of the mangroves and took great pictures of us for the memories, which was a fantastic bonus. I highly recommend her and her tour, we enjoyed it so much and left so much more knowledgable and even more in awe of the beauty of Florida!

I had a great time out at Shell Key with Local Tide today. Taylor knows so much about the area and pointed out and told us about all the different types of birds and wildlife we saw. It was a gorgeous day and we got to do several mangrove tunnels and then went out to Shell Key and search for shells. . It was a great day. I highly recommend going out with Local Tide.

Taylor was wonderful, knowledgeable and very pleasant. Communication was excellent. Kayaks, dry bags and life wests very clean and in good shape. The Mangrove tour was beautiful and fun. We saw many birds and tried to find dolphins and manatees. It was extremely windy, so we could not go to Shell Island, but Taylor found us a good alternative route.

Taylor was a wonderful guide! Now that I’ve had a personal guided tour I likely wouldn’t go kayaking in a big group again. She tailored it to what we wanted to see and experience. We went through Clam Bayou mangroves and on into the bay. She was really knowledgeable about the ecosystem and made the trip everything is hoped it would be. Great pics too!

I took a kayak tour with Taylor Swan and had an amazing time. Taylor’s knowledge of the mangrove ecosystem and the Seashell Island preserve made the trip both relaxing and educational. Clear instructions, great pacing, and thoughtful stops to point out wildlife and shells. I’d book with Taylor again in a heartbeat!
