This is the second tour I booked with Mari and it did not disappoint. She starts the tour with an excellent history lesson on the Philippines. Then you head to Intramuros where she takes you into a cathedral, then Fort Santiago, a basilica, and finally a mansion. Along the way you learn a lot about the history of Manila, and how it relates to the history of the Philippines. You learn how history has shaped the current state of the city and country. Mari was fantastic. She's extremely personable, passionate, and loves her culture. You won't find a better tour guide.

The Intramuros tour was fantastic! I learned so much while enjoying the beautiful views. The tour guide was incredibly helpful, answered all our questions, and made the experience fun. Highly recommend this tour for both newcomers and those who have been to Intramuros before!

Overall, the tour was a great introduction to Philippine history. Mari is an engaging and enthusiastic guide who capably manages to condense several centuries of Philippine history into a 15min introduction before the tour begins, and as someone unfamiliar with it it was the perfect way to prepare me for the tour and highlight the significance of each of the sites. Fort Santiago was the most striking, being the focal point of many battles and atrocities.. The Intramuros has been the site for pivotal, yet tragic shifts in Philippine history and this tour will help you fully appreciate it.

This is a private walking tour of the most popular parts of Intramuros, in particular - the Cathedral, the Fort and Casa Manila. The tour was very interesting. The tour guide, Mari, gave a good historical summary of this part of Manila's history. She is clearly an experienced tour guide and has been doing this for years. She is also a very cheerful person and I really enjoyed the tour. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour to anyone.
