Ride Alongs do not get in the water, they stay on the boat. Our viewing location is the most ideal manta viewing location. We have just a short 5 minute boat ride out to our snorkel destination. Using our state of the art viewing board, our expert in water crew will guide snorkelers through the bay to view these beautiful animals. Snorkelers enjoy approximately 30 minutes of in water viewing time.
This exciting night snorkel with Magnificent Manta Rays is an event you will never forget! This is a close encounter of a different kind, and you'll have memories to last a lifetime!

This is a wild and free excursion. No refunds are given in the event we do not get to view mantas the night of your tour.
If you are unable to swim and would like to remain on the boat, we welcome you. "Ride alongs" are a paid ticket as it is a reserved seat on the boat at a discount.
We have full discretion to refuse service to guests based on attire, behavior, physical fitness & condition
Please arrive no later than your scheduled check in time, as we have important information to review prior to leaving the dock, as well as outfit all guests with the equipment needed for the tour.

This is an open ocean experience at night. Young children may be scared of the dark waters and large animals.
Children who are frighten and crying will be escorted back aboard with a guardian. No Exceptions

This trip is not for individuals who are afraid the dark, deep water, or large animals.
Snorkel vest provided for children 12 and under. Snorkel vest available to rent for all others.

READ THIS!!! TOUR TIMES NOTED ARE THE CHECK-IN TIME, NOT THE DEPARTURE TIME. DEPARTURE IS 1 HOUR LATER. DEPATURE LOCATION IS 1.4 MILES FROM CHECK-IN LOCATION. -Swimming and Snorkeling Experience is Required. -This is an open ocean activity, participants should be comfortable in deep and dark waters. -This activity is generally moderate but can be strenuous depending on participant’s fitness level and ocean conditions. -Manta Rays are wild animals; we cannot control their behavior. -Please arrive no later than your scheduled check-in time. -Guests must be at departure location 20 minutes prior to departure. -Tour time is 2 hrs, which includes time for check-in, gear and brief. -Do not arrive early to check-in. -Enjoy approx. 30 minutes of in-water time. -Ensure you opt in to receiving emails and text from us. 5.00First and foremost the staff is awesome which makes these adventures great. We were able to see a total of five manta rays swim by and it was awesome to see them so up close. I had one kid and she needed help a couple of times as I did and the staff was so patient and calming it makes me want to go again. The water isn’t cold but the equipment provided helped me out to stay in the water that I would be comfortable with. Big thanks to the crew you made our night with this excursion

5.00We were so fortunate to see so many Manta Rays at our 7pm tour. November still has a nice temperature in the water. It can get a little bit chilly toward the end.

5.00Great experience! Easy to check in and get gear. Easy to find bay and quick to get to snorkel spot. Well run and organized. We got lucky and saw 5 manta rays at the same time. Definitely recommend.
Definitely a MUST to do!! Safe and well organized.

5.00Absolutely a must do while in Hawai'i!!! Manta rays do not bite or sting. Totally safe for all ages who can swim and are comfortable being in the ocean at night. Life vests are available upon request, but ability to swim is preferred, or you can stay on the boat and observe from there, (still requires a ticket). At check in you are issued a wet/dry(?) suit top and snorkel gear. Advise to show early at the meet point where you will be divided into small groups and so you don't miss the boat. Each group is assigned to a guide, so they are able to keep an eye on everyone and not overwhelmed. Bryce did a great job of informing us of what to expect and what not to do. Taken by boat offshore, you will snorkel holding onto a bar attached to a lighted platform, (with a pool noodle under your ankles to keep you parallel with the surface). The lights draw the plankton, (manta ray food), which in turn draws the manta rays to the platform. If the rays are scarce in the area, the platform can be moved to a, (hopefully), more active area. You just hold onto the bar, and the guides will relocate the platform...and you. These are wild ocean creatures that do not perform on a schedule, so there could be times when there may not be many...or any. Be patient, on our tour it took a short while before they showed up, but eventually, we had at least a dozen swimming around, under and in front of us, getting so close they would brush against us! An underwater camera is a must for some awesome pics and videos. The guides were great keeping an eye on everyone and giving encouragement to those who needed it. I can't wait for another chance to do this again! I highly recommend this tour for an unbelievable experience!! I'd rate it 100 stars if I could. :-)

5.00The experience was so much fun! We ended up seeing 6 different manta rays, we rented a go pro from discovery dolphins and cannot wait to get the footage back! The captains and guide were so helpful and kind and super funny. Next time I’m back I know what I’m booking 🩷

5.00Absolutely magical! The manta rays are so majestic, beautiful and hypnotizing. You could literally watch them for hours. I was scared because this was a night snorkel but it was so relaxing and calming. I highly recommend this experience. The crew was also amazing! They made sure to make this special for everyone.

4.00After a somewhat disjointed process of finding the office inside a strip center, waiting in queue to checkin and collect gear, then driving down to the boat ramp, finding a place to park and hiking back to the meeting spot, the actual water experience was outstanding! The boat and in-water guys did a fantastic job! We saw up to six manta rays at a time. The provided wetsuit tops were perfect for the conditions. We were with Byron in the water who kept everything stable and in control while giving knowledgeable commentary on the rays and environment. A big thanks to all the crew!

5.00Such a fun experience. My kids were between the ages of 8-17 and they absolutely loved it. One of the mantas came and touched us which was such a cool experience. It’s about a 5 minute boat ride and we did the6 o’clock check in time. It was perfect, we seen so many Manta Rays
