In this tour we travel through the mountains to enter cloud forest, where we do some walks to observe several species of birds, orchids and maybe monkeys. After spending the night in our private lodge (Rainforest) we continue 3 hours by boat to Amazon lodge deep in the jungle, visiting hot springs on the way. We sleep in a tree house besides a mammals clay lick to watch out for tapirs, deers and other animals. The following day we explore the primary rainforest (untouched) with a chance to see many monkey species, birds like parrots and an unbelievable variability of plants like giant trees, palms and medical plants. We end the day with a night-walk to observe spiders (tarantulas), insects, frogs and snakes. On the last day we return to Cusco by boat and bus.

We will leave from Cusco by private bus, first stopping to visit the pre Incas burial towers of Ninamarca .We then drive through the mountain to get to the typical folkloric town of Paucartambo here we will take a short walk around the town before carrying on to tres cruces , the highest point of and entrance to Manu national park . from here we will continue in to the cloud forest and at san Pedro we will walk for around 1 hour to observe the national bird of Peru , the cock of the rock and many different kinds of monkeys, plant and flowers .We arrive at our private Balcony lodge in the evening where we will stay for the night.

After breakfast we will continue by private bus to Atalaya. On the way we will stop to observe a coca plantation, we will also stop at a view point where you can get a good overview of the jungle and river. From Atalaya we leave by motorized boat to Aguas Calientes, where you can bath in the natural hot springs. During the boat trip we will see many different kinds of animals, especially birds , and a beautiful landscape. Then we will continue downriver to R.E.Palotoa Lodge for dinner. After dinner we will take a night walk in the jungle to look for spiders and snakes. We will spend the night in our beautiful, comfortable lodge.

This day we will explore the jungle on our vast trail system, carrying a small day pack including lunch. On the way we will see many different kinds of the animals such as monkeys, collared peccaries, birds such as eagles, parrots, toucans and medicinal plants and the giant trees. Later in the evening we get to the mammals clay lick we will prepare our beds in the camouflaged house, taking shifts to watch for nocturnal animals (protected by mosquito nets).

In the morning we walk back to the lodge on a different track. There you have some time for relaxing and and a big breakfast. Afterwards we go by boat upriver to machu huasi lake There we will walk in the jungle and visit the lake. A balsa raft on Machu Huasi Lake gives us the opportunity to observe more wildlife and the beautiful sunset in the jungle . After dark we will have another opportunity to see some caiman eye. In the evening we will build a bonfire, relax and have some drinks and a BBQ. We will spend the night at the bank of the alto Madre de Dios River sleeping on tents. Or lodge optional.

We will get up to visit the parrots clay lick and after breakfast we will return to Atalaya by boat, where our private bus we will wetting for us to take us back to Cusco via the cloud forest. We will arrive to Cusco in the afternoon.

5.00This was the best tour we did to get to the manu, the agency exceeded our expectations!!! everything was well organized and were punctual, our guide Abel conveyed his love for the jungle with his deep knowledge and his anecdotes, we were treated very fondly, they made us try local dishes, the rooms were unique beautiful, they did a good job. We were surprised at the variety of wildlife we could see. They provide an authentic Manu experience.

5.00Was keen on experiencing the Peruvian Amazon and Palotoa were the best and experts in this. They have their own lodge which was very well maintained and comfortable. At every meal they served plentiful meal with a lot of varaiety. The guide as a local was well aware of the time and place to spot animals and birds and this was a very useful thing in my opinion.

5.00We took a tour with my partner to the jungle, PALOTOA Amazon Travel gave us a security, everything worked very well Words are not enough to describe how wonderful you feel to be in the MANU jungle, guide Abel has a good knowledge and showed confidence throughout the trip. The cook was gentle and the food they prepared was very good. Boating was great. The hostel exceeded our expectation. Everything was perfect in the Service. Abel was always there to show us the journey and guide us very well without complications, sharing beautiful moments observing nature, birds and animals.

5.00We traveled with a group of 6. Our guide had a lot of knowledge about the beautiful plants and animals, shared stories that brought the culture there to life, really the agency staff made a lot of effort so that we could see a lot of wildlife, the guide was always fun and enthusiastic made the whole tour enjoyable, he was qualified with respect to the animals of the AMAZON especially with birds, we could see monkeys, birds and we could imitate the sound they make to attract them. The food was excellent delicious and amazing we got breakfast lunch, snack and dinner every day. The accommodations where we were were amazing IN SHORT IT WAS A VERY NICE AND UNIQUE EXPERIENCE DIFFICULT TO FORGET !!! They're a big Enterprise.

5.00This tour was well worth the time, money and energy. Saul was our guide and he is very patient, knowledgable and extremely attentive. We got a good overall orientation of he Amazon Rainforest and the flora and fauna. The food and lodging were nice too.

5.00We were eagerly planning and looking forward to this trip and everything was just amazing. The guide as a local from the region knew a lot and explained every bit in detail. It was more like hearing a story. The food was terrific,infact we ate so much that we ended up gaining weight after the tour. The lodges were comfortable and very cozy. We are very delighted with Palotoa Amazon Travel and we highly recommend them.
