We learned so much! They spend a lot of time teaching you about the history and process of making tequila, and how to determine a great bottle. Then, you get to taste the flavor profiles of a few different tequilas and mezcals before diving in to make three margaritas of your own — which were fantastic! They were incredibly nice and made the whole experience SO fun and we are excited to get home and practice recreating what we learned. If you want to expand your knowledge of tequila or have an incredible cocktail recipe on hand to impress your friends, this is a MUST DO in Puerto Vallarta.

The Margarita Class was amazing! We learned not just about different kinds of tequilas but also about other spirits that are related to it. We were able to sample these variations and understand how to best pair/mix them should we choose to use them. But the best part was being able to select the margaritas we were going to make and tasting them! They were all amazing but our favorite was the Eye Candy.

This was a fun and informative experience! We learned about blue agave and the production process for tequila. And then we learned the fine techniques of making (and drinking) several kinds of margaritas. The owner and expert bartender could not have been nicer. This is highly recommended with your date or with friends. As an extra treat, the bar was at a really great Japanese restaurant, also highly recommended.
