Exploring the coastline of Walvis Bay, Namibia.

This 3-hour fun filled tour takes you along Walvis Bay's tidal lagoon, home to abundant bird life and marine animals, all the way to Pelican Point and Seal Colony.

Whilst enjoying fresh oysters with some bubbly onboard, you also learn about local ecosystem and have some interactions with "regular guests of our catamarans".

Join us on our catamarans in comfort and style, experience all the splendid riches our Atlantic Ocean has to offer, the Marine Big 5, seals and pelicans come onboard for breakfast, dolphins, seasonal whales, turtles, sun fish and so much more wildlife & bird life. This adventurous and educational cruise is guided by our friendly staff, departing every morning from Walvis Bay Waterfront and sailing along the beautiful lagoon area, passing by the oyster farms, shipwreck, Pelican Point, the seal colony and the lighthouse. It's a perfect outing for all ages. Complimentary snacks platter, fresh oysters, sparkling wine, coffee & tea, bottled water & assorted drinks. Absolutely amazing the crew were so friendly it was cold and drizzled with rain they gave us blankets and old brown sherry to warm us up and friendly and accommodating highly recommend and will definitely go back!!! Fresh oysters and bubbly!!!

We were on the water for 4 hours and were treated with excellent snacks and drinks. We saw a whale, countless seals and dolphins. The staff were exceedingly friendly and efficient. Truly a five star experience.

The Marine Dolphin Seal Cruise with Sun Sail was an absolute highlight of our holiday! From the first minute we felt completely comfortable – the team on board was not only friendly and professional, but also took care of all guests with genuine warmth. We would like to emphasize particularly positively that even our vegetarian wishes were met without problems and with great care – this is unfortunately not a matter of course with excursions of this kind. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared. The tour itself was breathtaking: We saw dolphins, experienced sea lions up close and enjoyed the fantastic scenery from the water. The crew talked a lot about wildlife and you could tell how much they cared about the respectful treatment of nature and animals. Thanks to the whole team – we would book this tour again at any time and can recommend Sun Sail without restriction!

Met all our expectations. We enjoyed the pelican and seal on board and then the dolphins were also exciting to watch. The food and drink was very good.

We've had an amazing experience, despite the weather initially not being great. The host and the skipper were incredibly friendly and shared a lot of knowledge about sea life and local ecosystem. Face-to-face interaction with pelican and seals, "sea puppies " , were the best part of the day. Blankets and all comforts were provided, lunch was superb with oysters and champagne. Definitely a great time to spend outdoors if you're in Walvis Bay, you won't go wrong!

Lots of fun with the friendly crew and lots to see. Seal hopped on board and visited with us, and so did a large pelican. They knew that the crew had fish for them! Great views of the beach with hundreds of seals, and plenty of photo ops. The crew also served a large spread of snacks and champagne to us humans— highly recommended!

The trip was worth every penny!!! In the beginning there was a schnapps for everyone and there were soft drinks as well as beer while we were on our way. On the way we had a seal on board after only a few minutes which was close to us to touch. We also saw another whale as well as a pelican on board. We also went to the well-known seal beach and saw thousands of seals living there. After the whole tour there were several plates of prepared food. Kalamarie, fried chicken, oysters, topped bread and so on. There was also a sparkling wine at the end. This was all included in the price. In addition to the drinks and food, we were also told a lot about the animals, the oysters and the place on the 4 hour tour. All in all, I would recommend this tour to everyone.
A wonderful morning on Walvis Bay. Highly recommend.

An extremely well organised, informative and enjoyable tour. The crew were very attentive and so friendly and the captain had a wealth of information about the harbour and its animals that he shared with us. The drinks and lunch were delicious. We saw thousands of seals as well as dolphins, pelicans as well as a cheeky whale. We arrived on a cruise ship for the day and booked this tour slightly concerned that we’d miss the start but the booking staff reached out to us and confirmed that we were on the cruise and organised a boat especially for cruise guests which ensured we didn’t miss out. Highly recommend this awesome tour.

Just brilliant. Communication with the office was great. The information given was very interesting. The skipper and his crew couldn't be more obliging. The 2 unexpected guests onto the catamaran was just amazing. Oysters and bubbles also helped to make it a truly beautiful experience. Huge thanks.
