Exploring the coastline of Walvis Bay, Namibia.
This 3-hour fun filled tour takes you along Walvis Bay's tidal lagoon, home to abundant bird life and marine animals, all the way to Pelican Point and Seal Colony.
Whilst enjoying fresh oysters with some bubbly onboard, you also learn about local ecosystem and have some interactions with "regular guests of our catamarans".

This adventurous and educational cruise is guided by our friendly staff, departing every morning from Walvis Bay Waterfront and sailing along the beautiful lagoon area, passing by the oyster farms, shipwreck, Pelican Point, the seal colony and the lighthouse. 5.00We paid $155 for 2 people on this morning cruise of Walvis Bay. They were a little slow in responding to messages, so we had to figure out where they were located exactly but everything worked out fine as they are about a 10-minute easy walk from the cruise port, almost all the way at the end of the marina area (be alert for people offering to escort you there, it isn't necessary at all - just tell them you catching a harbor cruise that you already have purchased tickets for). Once you check-in (at their beautiful wood and glass building), they tell you to meet further down the pier and to use the restroom in a nearby store. The boat probably held about 50 people and every seat was GREAT with lots of room to spread out and everyone having great views. The boat was modern and nice, and the entire crew was very professional and amazing. They walk around serving you beverages and snacks.....explain all about the areas you are seeing....even bring aboard some locally wild (but daily fed by the tour boats so they know the drill) pelicans and seals. We had AMAZING views of the seal colony, lots of seals in the water, pods of dolphins, and a humpback whale - honestly, this was the most active wildlife we have ever encountered on a wildlife sightseeing cruise. The lunch is great and includes local oysters, champagne, and other very tasty snacks. The ride took the full 3 hours and at the end their was a voluntary gratuity basket that you could contribute to for the crew (no pressure at all). A really great experience that we highly recommend!!

5.00We booked this independently whilst on a cruise to South Africa from Gran Canaria… the contact from this company was excellent- Sun Sail reached out several days prior to arrival gave location details and met us off the Quay… lots of seals and Pelicans and a couple of Dolphins.. an excellent on board snacks of oysters, fizz and samosa /sandwich’s -a vegetarian meal was on offer too. On our trip the weather was a bit overcast but blankets available, it an open catermaran so on a sunny day (normal weather) plenty of sun lotion and hat required .

5.00Absolutely amazing the crew were so friendly it was cold and drizzled with rain they gave us blankets and old brown sherry to warm us up and friendly and accommodating highly recommend and will definitely go back!!! Fresh oysters and bubbly!!!

5.00We were on the water for 4 hours and were treated with excellent snacks and drinks. We saw a whale, countless seals and dolphins. The staff were exceedingly friendly and efficient. Truly a five star experience.

5.00The Marine Dolphin Seal Cruise with Sun Sail was an absolute highlight of our holiday! From the first minute we felt completely comfortable – the team on board was not only friendly and professional, but also took care of all guests with genuine warmth. We would like to emphasize particularly positively that even our vegetarian wishes were met without problems and with great care – this is unfortunately not a matter of course with excursions of this kind. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared. The tour itself was breathtaking: We saw dolphins, experienced sea lions up close and enjoyed the fantastic scenery from the water. The crew talked a lot about wildlife and you could tell how much they cared about the respectful treatment of nature and animals. Thanks to the whole team – we would book this tour again at any time and can recommend Sun Sail without restriction!

5.00We've had an amazing experience, despite the weather initially not being great. The host and the skipper were incredibly friendly and shared a lot of knowledge about sea life and local ecosystem. Face-to-face interaction with pelican and seals, "sea puppies " , were the best part of the day. Blankets and all comforts were provided, lunch was superb with oysters and champagne. Definitely a great time to spend outdoors if you're in Walvis Bay, you won't go wrong!

5.00Lots of fun with the friendly crew and lots to see. Seal hopped on board and visited with us, and so did a large pelican. They knew that the crew had fish for them! Great views of the beach with hundreds of seals, and plenty of photo ops. The crew also served a large spread of snacks and champagne to us humans— highly recommended!

5.00The trip was worth every penny!!! In the beginning there was a schnapps for everyone and there were soft drinks as well as beer while we were on our way. On the way we had a seal on board after only a few minutes which was close to us to touch. We also saw another whale as well as a pelican on board. We also went to the well-known seal beach and saw thousands of seals living there. After the whole tour there were several plates of prepared food. Kalamarie, fried chicken, oysters, topped bread and so on. There was also a sparkling wine at the end. This was all included in the price. In addition to the drinks and food, we were also told a lot about the animals, the oysters and the place on the 4 hour tour. All in all, I would recommend this tour to everyone.
