Bonaire National Marine Park
Covering all the waters surrounding Bonaire and Klein Bonaire, this is an area of about 27 km² (6672 acres). It hosts a variety of ecosystems such as its renowned coral reefs, mangroves and seagrass beds and it includes the areas of Lac and Klein Bonaire. It is a multi-use Marine Protected Area as anybody is welcome to enter the waters and a wide array of activities are provided such as scuba diving, snorkeling, sightseeing, fishing, watersports & more.
Klein Bonaire
Klein Bonaire is a small uninhabited island located just off the coast of Bonaire. It is about half a mile from Bonaire at its closest point. We’ll show you the most beautiful Beaches Klein Bonaire has to offer. These are only accessible by boat and are home to the most well-preserved corals and beautiful fish. This area is part of the National Marine Park and is home to turtle nesting grounds. It is very likely you will see sea turtles in this area. Your guide will tell you all about the underwater life and what you can expect. You can go for a swim, enjoy the beach or just stay on board and enjoy the ocean breeze.

5.00I booked this trip as I wanted this to be a family day with my husband, 3 daughters and their boyfriends and my granddaughter (7 years old). Capt. Tariq was amazing!! He asked us what we wanted to do and made it all happen! We were able to snorkel in two different spots, tubed over to Klein Beach, swam and snorkeled, my daughter got engaged and then we went tubing back to the ship. My granddaughter said it was THE BEST DAY EVER! She absolutely LOVED the tubing even going very fast the smile never left her face. I highly recommend. Wonderful for families with all ages.

5.00Top notch experience! I cannot write enough good things about this outing. Tariq was on time, knowledge about the island, took us to beautiful places, was amazing with all the kids… I could go on and on! Felt like we knew him forever! I absolutely would go on this every time I go to Bonaire!

5.00What a fantastic day we had on SaltyTours. Darin was an amazing captain sharing stories, information, all while being very attentive to the 4 of us. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the beach hopping and snorkeling! Highly Recommend!!

5.00This was by far the highlight of our trip! Captain Darren was amazing! He is very knowledgeable about the islands and took us to awesome snorkel sights as well as pulling us on the inner tube but he also took great care with my mother who has had 2 knee replacement and our family friend who injured his shoulder right before our trip. He made sure everyone had a great time and saw some amazing snorkel sights.
Best time in Bonaire was with Captain Darin!

5.00Great time with Captain Darin! We had 8 people(3 adults and 5 kids). He took us to two great snorkeling spots at Klein Bonaire! He also towed my grandkids on inflatable raft. This was definitely the highlight of our time in Bonaire and our cruise!

5.00We booked a land sailing excursion in Bonaire. And on the day our cruise docked in Bonaire, a hurricane hit further north. Bonaire is thankfully outside the hurricane belt, but their weather can still be affected by hurricanes, and there was no wind projected for the day we would be in Bonaire. We received an email at 10 pm the night before we were due to arrive that land sailing had to be cancelled due to the lack of wind. I began frantically searching for alternatives. I emailed every boat rental company in Bonaire, and only one had a vacancy the following day. Thankfully, it was Salty Tours. My children absolutely loved riding on the raft towed by our boat (and stayed on for the whole 20 minute ride back to the pier), and Klein Bonaire was an incredibly special place to visit. Please note that it is a completely uninhabited island, and be prepared with all the food, water and sunscreen you will need. The water was crystal clear, and my husband even caught a fish in a kiddie net. The children had a wonderful time, and we were very grateful to Salty Tours for a wonderful day.
A must do when visiting Bonaire!

5.00OMG!!! BEST excursion EVER ( and I have 25 cruises just with Carnival). Darin (boat captain) was soo good to us. Knowledgeable and worked very hard to make this a fun experience for us. The 3 kids ( 8-11-16) said it was the best ( high praise, especially from the 16yo). Kids had a fun snorkeling (2 different spots)and tubing. Snorkeling gear, pool noodles and flotation vests all included. Capt Darin also took us on a boat tour. Easy 3 minute walk from the cruise port to the pick up dock. The included cold water and sodas really hit the spot. Don't miss this one ya'll. WELL worth it!
