  I actually went on a history tour of SJD with Kristian earlier in the week and saw that he also led this market tour, so I booked it immediately. This tour is a great way to get off the beaten (tourist) path and explore how the locals actually live, and get a chance to sample some real Mexican food! The fresh, hand-made tortillas were the the best! Kristian's English is impeccable, and he is very knowledgeable about the history and the region. Highly recommend doing something like this that is quite a different from the usual tourist 'stuff' on your vacation!

  I booked this tour with Kristian for my husband. When he returned from the tour, he could not stop talking about how much fun he had and that he learned a lot about the food and markets in San Jose del Cabo. He would gladly take any tour Kristian leads in the future. Highly recommend.

  Kristian was a great guide and showed me around the market which I wouldn’t have visited otherwise. I should’ve ate a lighter breakfast because lunch afterwards was really filling

  We went with Kristian on a FABULOUS day tour weeks earlier, and when my two daughters &I returned for a Cabo wedding , we made sure to book Kristian again! The food tour was a really great way to get to not only taste many foods in Cabo, but understand more of it's rich history. The food was amazing, and served at local venues without commercialism...authentic and delicious. We loved eating with the locals a d experiencing their markets. I highly recommend this food tour and also Kristian as a intelligent but down to earth guide, who was born and raised in Cabo and has a wonderful understanding of the culture, area and country. Thank you Kristian! We hope to return and see you many times in the future!! Muchos Gracias!!

  We did a tour with Kristian on a previous trip to Cabo, and the first thing we did after we finalized our flights with book another tour with him! Kristian is an incredible guide. He's a Cabo native, his English is flawless, he's extremely knowledgeable and is just a fun person to be around! He'll customize the tour to your group (we had a baby and he was great to work around our logistics-- we had kids on a previous tour and he was fabulous to cater parts to both the kids and the adults as we needed). We love seeing the local, less touristy side of places, and we truly got that from this tour. The food was AMAZING and the variety of markets was educational and fun. I can't recommend Kristian (and if you're lucky, his partner Kate) highly enough!!!!!!

  Christian was very knowledgeable and a wonderful guide! Each of the markets were different and enjoyable. However, my favorite was the first market, which is where the local's shop! Then you get the added experience of enjoying an authentic Mexican breakfast. Christian walks you through the menu in detail and explains each of the drinks and dishes. Then once you can't decide what to try he makes the best recommendations to ensure that you get to try each of the different types. Be sure to come hungry! On the walk to the next market, we also got to try some Mexican candy...yummy! I highly recommend this tour!
