  Wow. If you want to really experience the souk and see the makers this tour is astonishing. Without a guide you would not get to see some of the craftsmen making the products they are selling and learning about the techniques and apprentices. Everything from saddle makers to scissors. Fabrics being dyed and haggling over animal skins for bags & shoes. We were astonished at every corner and overwhelmed (in a good way) by how much there was to see.

  Our tour of the arts and crafts markets in the Medina with Abdul was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Marrakech! He did a fantastic job guiding us through a variety of workshops and stalls - from intricate metalwork and beautiful pottery to leather goods, textiles, and so much more. He led us away from the overcrowded tourist areas and into the heart of where the real artistry happens. We got to meet a few of the artisans themselves, watching them at work and learning not just how they create their pieces, but also the cultural stories and traditions behind them. It gave us a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship that defines this city. If you want an authentic, insightful, and genuinely fun way to experience Marrakech’s creative side, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommend!

  We had a wonderful tour around the beautiful city of Marrakech with Abdul. He made time to understand our needs and provided us with an unforgettable experience. We were in the city for 4 nights and our tour was booked on day 1 which gave us the grounding we needed to enjoy our holiday. From souks to concept stores, a secret garden and a caffeine pick-me up, we explored so much and felt much more confident to venture through the medina and haggle during the rest of our trip. Abdul was kind, considerate and respectful, introducing us to the craftsmen who made us bespoke items, such as sandals and belts.   Thank you to Abdul who was a great guide. He gave us a real insight into the history of the area . He had the perfect balance of giving us information but also letting us v us observe our surroundings. The second day I was unwell but my husband had a fab day busing all the arts and crafts ( he loved the lam for lunch too ). Thank you Abdul. A great guide

  I booked this tour for my clients, combined with Abdul's Hidden Sides tour. He met my clients at their hotel and took them on a day-long adventure. When they returned home, they told me that this was one of the highlights of their entire trip. They also said there was no way they could have navigated through all of the Souks without him. Thank you, Abdul!

  Fantastic tour operated by Abdul. He met us in a very easy to find location, and took us to see all aspects of the Souks. He offered insightful information and a lot of interesting history about the area and Morocco itself. It was yseful having a guide who could help us understand how the Souks work and what behaviour was accepted. We felt very safe going through the Souks with Abdul, and he took us to many with cool and ideal gifts to purchase. Would 100% book a tour with him again and recommend him fully!

  We only had one day in Marrakech before heading out to the desert. Since we were short on time, rather than explore ourselves, we opted to book a full day tour with Abdul that combines his hidden sides and arts & crafts tours. He met us right outside our riad and guided us through the medina, stopping at historical sites on the way to the souks. We learned a lot about the history of the Morocco and Marrakech, and heard about his time growing up in the area we explored. Afterward, he took us to a TON shops in the souks based on our interests, not stopping until we had checked everything we wanted off our souvenir list! At the shops, he assisted in haggling and made sure we got a good deal on the things we wanted to purchase. We also stopped for lunch at a small restaurant in the middle of the souks that we never would have found on our own, where we had the best beans and lentils of the trip. I highly recommend booking a tour with Abdul if you want to have a super friendly local guide you through town!

  A tour is a must when going to Marrakech and we were in such great hands with Abdul. He was easy to communicate with ahead of time and tailored our day to what we wanted to get out of it. He even took us to lunch where the locals enjoy typical Moroccan cuisine. The entire day was inspiring, interesting and fun, and we finished the day with far more knowledge than before.   The tour with Abdul through the Souks of Marrakech was amazing, a full day walking tour which was worth every minute spent, Abdul showed us all of the different areas of the Souks and introduced us to some of the amazing craftsmen and women that were making and selling goods within the souks.The entire place is a spectacle of beautiful crafts and colour and is something we will never forget, just wish we could have bought more things to take home ! We cannot recommend Abdul enough he is a wonderful guide with a great sense of humour and we shall definitely meet up with him again when we return.

  Abdul was the perfect guide. I spent a relaxed, informative and beautiful morning walking through the souks of Marrakesh. I felt safe and welcomed by any traders that we approached and Abdul helped me with pricing and haggling where needed. With the souks being so huge and with such a huge volume of traders, I would say that an introduction with Abdul is an absolute must for anyone new to Marrakesh.
