  David was very informative along the route and stopped so we could enjoy the scenery and even do a little shopping. We learned a lot about current day Martha's Vineyard and the historical aspects of the island.

  Tour guide grew up on Martha’s Vineyard so he was very informative. He was very patient and answered questions asked of him.

  David was a fun, professional tour guide. Warm and articulate with lots of personal knowledge and stories to share about Martha’s Vineyard. The tour was for 14 participants which was ideal for someone who doesn’t usually enjoy group activities on holiday and took around 3 hours with a stop for some great chowder. Everyone enjoyed the tour and all the highlights and towns were included in the tour. As an addition we learned lots about the filming of Jaws on the Island. Highly recommend.

  The tour was a very good way to see the Island. The guide was informative and a very good at communicating facts which would grab your attention. Martha’s Vineyard is a beautiful place well worth the visit a place we will hopefully return too. The guide was very good. The only downside was the inability to stop at Edgartown and bust the harbour. The Jaws sites were great the information much appreciated. Very good trip. PS in respect of the “Downside” the streets were narrow with many people milling about so maybe there are restrictions outside the tour companies control.

  Do not use this company. They use a very loud school bus. You can barely understand and hear the tour guide. He has a thick accent. I asked the tour guide of a good place for l7nchbsnd he made a suggestion. I told him I was going in the store next to him because I had 5 more minutes. The bus was supposed to leave at 12:30pm. I came out of the store at 12:30 and the bus that was parked right in front of the store was gone. I had no way to get to Oaks Bluff. An Uber ride was over $300.00. I texted the driver and the owner at 12:36 and asked why did the bus leave early and I want a refund. The owner stated he will call me back after he talks to the driver. I guess two days later the driver did not show up because I have not heard from him. You can find a better tour company that oes not use a loud school bus.

  Very informative, friendly tour guide. Stopped for sightseeing and bathroom breaks, gave us plenty of time too.

  Had a problem with one of their buses. Tried to refer us to another tour, but everyone was booked due to a cruise ship docking. The owner of the company took us herself on a personal tour. So kind

  We took a fast ferry over from Newport to Martha’s Vineyard and had reserved a later tour which had to be canceled. Homegrown pushed everyone on the earlier tour back by half hour so that we could join them. Our driver was local and had so much personal insight on the island.   I booked this tour through Viator. We arrived at Martha's Vineyard at the location we were told to meet the tour bus and after sitting and waiting for over 30 minutes thinking they must just be running behind, no one showed up to pick us up. I texted and called the company numerous times and when I finally got someone to answer they said "I'm sorry, we aren't running any tours today". When I told her I had already booked and paid for the tour she said "I'm sure Viator will give you your money back". I went to Viator and they said they would confirm with the vendor that the tour didn't take place and they were told by the vendor that WE DID NOT SHOW UP!! How insulting and infuriating. Of course, I tried to reach out to the company directly hoping maybe it was just a misunderstanding and they didn't remember the call I placed for had confused us with someone else but they NEVER have returned my call. Clearly I won't get my money back buy hopefully I can help someone else from loosing theirs. There are several other tour companies that were all very helpful and sympathetic to our situation but unfortunately they were all booked for the day so we totally missed out on taking a tour all together. Very unfortunate but still had a great time during our stay- just hated that having to deal with this was how the day started.

  Stan, our host/tour guide, took us on a 3-hour tour of the Island, all along the way explaining the history and landmarks of the island, including some landmarks/history I don't think you would learn about unless you took this tour with Stan. We stopped at a seafood store, the cliffs, and a farmstand. It was such a great time. I would highly recommend the tour.
