Later, you will get to discover one of our renowned waterfall at Grand River South East which is the longest river in Mauritius. When you will be heading to the spellbinding waterfall you can cherish the pristine beauty of the surroundings, the lush greenery, & even encounter some monkeys in their natural habitat perched on trees or sheltered on mountain slopes that border the river.

Your marvelous full day excursion to Ile aux Cerf will begin with a hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere on the paradise Island. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off to Trou D'eau Douce village, a fishing village nestled on the East Coast of Mauritius.

Ile Aux Cerfs

Arriving at Trou D'eau Douce village, you will board to your speed boat to go to Ile aux Cerf. You will certainly enjoy the speed boat ride from Trou D’eau Douce Village to Ile aux Cerf Island. As part of this speed boat ride, you will get to enjoy sailing through the crystal clear water of the east coast lagoons with breathtaking scenery all around. As you approach the Ile aux Cerfs Island by speed boat, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters. Once arriving at Ile Aux Cerf, you are sure to have a day of relaxation on the white sandy beach and fun on one of the picture-postcard beaches, and to enjoy a swim and snorkeling in the lagoon. The beautiful island allows you to indulge in numerous water sports activities like parasailing, Scuba diving, snorkeling, tube riding, Undersea walk, along with sunbathing by lying on the silvery sand of the beautiful beaches. We had such an adrenaline packed adventure with my husband. We started with parasailing in the morning and didn’t eat breakfast,then Sea Walk and the GRSE waterfall so hidden and a gem.

Deer Island, a very touristy paradise, super nice but quick parasailing activity (around 3 minutes of flight). PLEASE NOTE, regarding food and drinks this is included from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., i.e. only 1 hour at the end of the excursion. Before that, bar on Ile aux Cerfs available but plan the budget (prices similar to those in France). Picked up by the service provider (even 2 hours away). The staff is very friendly like most Mauritians! To do but know the conditions well.

I must say it was definitely a wonderful experience! The guide who was an archaeologist enthralled us with the history of the Islands. The food was bountiful. We were treated to wonderful meals on the Islands that let us sample each Island's speciality. There was free time on each of the Islands that allowed for shopping, exploring or sitting round watching island life sipping a drink! However, the weather was not good that day, i recommend travelers not to take risks to do water activities. But overall, it was a very good experience. Thanks to Divesh !

This trip is not organised well. They didn’t give a clear instruction on the day when it started. Firstly, long waiting for speed boat. When reached Ile aux cerf, we found out this booked parasailing is not on the island. We need to go back to where we boarded on speedboat and took car to the parasailing point. No matter how disappointed the parasailing company service is, careless, no listening, quick fly up and quick land off. Nothing can compare what we had six years ago. Lunch location s good, beach front lagoon offers nice swimming time before eating. Food is average. Water fall is nice to go, also saw monkeys around.
