5.00We set off early for our second day of exploration with George across southern Heraklion before reaching Knossos. George gave great advice in designing a perfect adventure for someone keen to see all the major representative archaeological sites within limited time - Caves and Matala Beach, Palace of Phaistos, Kalyviani Monastery, Gortyna Archaeological Site and Palace of Knossos - didn’t expect to be able to cover so much! Really delighted by the experience!!!

5.00George took us to intimate, quite and lovely places, scenic views for rest and lunch, and intriguing situations such as the mysterious monastery Kalyviani deeply entwined in Greek politics and culture. His recollection of working in the olive groves for his family was vivid (how slippery the olive processing plants are and how hard it is to hold up an olive harvesting machine). We talked about the old stories and he noted (about myths) that on Crete they always produced more than they consume. At the end of the day we realized that George is now our friend in Crete. This is the guy you want to spend a day with.

5.00We booked this tour for our first wedding anniversary in Crete and it was unforgettable. From the peaceful monastery to the Palace of Phaistos and the charming village of Matala, every stop was special and beautifully explained by our guide. The tour was flexible and we loved having two hours to swim and enjoy the crystal-clear waters of Matala beach. The highlight was our anniversary lunch at Vrachos Taverna with breathtaking sea views — the perfect way to celebrate. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic and memorable experience of Crete.

5.00We had a really lovely day with George, he arrived timely in a spotless vehicle. He brought supplies such as water and sun cream and added nice touches such as removing the headrests from the front passenger seating to provide a better view. George is a fabulous driver, driving carefully and considerately for both passengers and other road users. The trip is private so George is endlessly adaptable meaning the trip can be customised. He has some great stories to tell, and coming from Crete he knows his history well. I can thoroughly recommend him and his services.

5.00We had a lovely trip today with Giogos. He took us to the hippy beach, an olive plantation to sample produce. A beautiful monastery also lunch at lake Zaros. He was informative and professional, whilst at the same time friendly and adaptable to suit what we wanted from our trip. Sunsud and his service was a brilliant personalised experience and I would highly recommend him. Jo (London)

5.00We had a wonderful tour with George of various places in Crete. Our group was supposed to visit Santorini but got diverted to Crete instead. We couldn't have been happier. George is an exceptional guide who provided everything and more that you would want on a tour. Matala Beach was beautiful, and our stop at a small production olive oil facility was fantastic. We learned so much about the area that we really would like to visit Crete for an extended period of time.

5.00The following day, we continued our journey through Crete’s wonders. We had heard about Phaistos and its renowned Disk, as well as Matala, famous for its connection to the Flower Children, which made exploring these places even more exciting. Our son, Alkis, wanted to spend more time at the beach, so we adjusted the itinerary to include a visit to nearby Komos Beach. The view from the taverna on the hill was absolutely breathtaking! Yorgos, thank you for an extraordinary day!
