We booked the tour the day before and Boni was very accommodating with our late request. We were promptly picked up from our hotel in Moshi and driven to Materuni where Boni was waiting to take us on the hike. He was extremely informative, kind, and an excellent photographer! The hike to the waterfall was scenic and the waterfall even more so. We then went to the coffee farm where Boni and the other members of the farm showed us how they grew, harvested, roasted, ground, and then made the coffee. It was amazing! We were then served lunch (the banana soup was absolutely incredible) and given the opportunity to purchase art that they had made, which was well priced! We were then driven back to our hotel to conclude the amazing experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for something to do during the day!

I can’t hype Boni enough! He knew we were short on time and even got motor bikes to take us back (unplanned) after a breathtaking hike. He worked with our limited time we had before a quick trip as we needed to get back to the airport making our trip a success! The guys were sooo nice and helpful, AND the coffee and the banana beer were magnificent!

Highly recommended guide! His knowledge about the scenery and culture made for an enjoyable day! Extremely caring, as a solo female traveller I was at ease the entire visit!

We had such an exciting and wonderful time with our guide who picked us up at the hotel for an exciting one hour ride on our tuck tucks up the mountain to the waterfall path. While the hike was a bit steep and rocky, the scenery was unbelievable. Our guide was thoughtful, and since we were older adults, his pace was made just for us. But the best part of the trip was going to his family, coffee farm, and watching them with us helping make coffee filled with music and songs and the ritual of making coffee their style. I strongly suggest using this service which included that great tuck tuck ride back down the mountain and safely to our hotel

The experience was absolutely amazing. Bony and his team were the most welcoming group and the village/waterfall/and coffee making were truly a once in a lifetime experience. Also he personally took us into Moshi to help us shop for some tanzanite and other gifts afterward. Make sure you book this trip!

This tour exceeded my expectations! Boni was a good guide. The coffee plantation tour is a fun, very musical, experience. The waterfall is spectacular and the short hike too qutie scenic. We had a great lunch prepared for us afterwards.

What a fabulous day with Boni (our guide). We took the Tuk Tuk from our hotel (a must experience), then hiked an hr to the waterfall…Boni was so interesting, pointing out culture, lifestyle, plants, and explaining his tribe, all with great English! The total surprise was taking us back to his home, where his mother was preparing our lunch in her kitchen on open fire!—-lunch was so wonderful! His home is the coffee plantation and we made coffee ! Finally, we wanted to buy a tanzanite gem, and Boni took us to a local (reasonable) jewler. I cannot explain how I believable this day was, it exceeded by far our expectations ! Thank you so much Boni!
