Eye-level whale watching (or summer time dolphin watching) onboard our low-to-water small group zodiac rafts.

Our small group tours make for a fun, family style whale watch experience. Although whales are protected in Hawaii, they often approach our small boats for closer and eye level whale encounters.
Search for dolphins (summer months) early season whales (Nov & May) and sightsee on this tour in the off season.
A low-to-water zodiac boat puts you close to the ocean’s surface for eye-level wildlife encounters, maneuverability for accessing remote spots, and a thrilling, eco-friendly adventure.
We are located in Lahaina, Maui, just a short drive from Kaanapali, Kahana, Napili, Kapalua and other West Maui accommodations. And a fun destination for visitors staying in Kihei or Wailea.

Join Maui's only Hawaiian Owned eye-level Whale Watching and Dolphin Search Tours onboard our low-to-water small group eco-rafts. Avoid the crowds and enjoy comfortable seating in a small group with spectacular views of Hawaii’s humpback whales or Maui's friendly dolphins. December- April: The Humpback Whale returns to the warm Hawaiian waters every year during the winter months for their mating and calving season. Although whales are protected in Hawaii and we do not approach them closer than federal regulations, they often approach our small rafts for those up close and eye-level whale encounters. May-November: Dolphins are spotted year-round and our eco-rafts also provide eye-level encounters. November we will also begin our search for early season whales. Your tour includes a full narration of interesting whale / dolphin and Maui facts by our marine naturalist, listening to whale songs on a hydrophone, water onboard and lots of photo ops! *Our small locally native owned eco-company is excited to share Maui's wildlife with you!* Departures from Lahaina- arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure time so you don't miss boarding your boat! 5.00Captain Jack and Meredith were very skilled, fun, and knowledgeable. We were able to get as close to the whales as one dared. Despite the unusual waves, it was a great experience! I'd go again and recommend them to anyone.

5.00Captain Jack and Mer made sure that we had an experience with competitive pods with 8 whales. For me along with the whale watching Jacks raft ride was amazing and fundu fun! You both Rock Captain Jack and Mer!

3.00We had this tour booked and Maui had been very windy. Before heading to the activity I called the tour operator and asked if it was going out since we had seen no boats on the ocean all morning. They said yes. We showed up the required 30 minutes before and sat in the folding chairs outside to wait. At the time our tour was supposed to start they came out and said it was canceled. If we hadn’t called we would have been less irritated. It broke up our day with so much wasted time.

5.00Captain Jack and Meredith were awesome…almost as awesome as the pod of battling whales we encountered! We had a great time even though the ocean was super choppy. Not only did we see whales we got a roller coaster ride. Highly recommend this adventure. Advice - book a morning tour. We had the 11:25am and the tours after us possibly got cancelled due to weather. Enjoy!

5.00What an awesome experience to see whales so close! Captain Jack and Mer were such great tour guides - informative and funny. We were able to see a whale fight on this tour which was so cool. Despite the unusual kona weather, Jack helped make the ride as smooth and enjoyable as possible!
