Gilligans' Island Luau is an intimate luau experience and is the only luau in Kihei on Maui.
Our luau is less than one quarter the size of the average luau in Hawaii. So, every seat is a great view of the show.
The show is a mesmerizing journey through various types of Polynesian culture presented in a fun and engaging format. Through storytelling, audience participation and remarkable performances, we present an experience unavailable anywhere else.

Experience an Authentic Polynesian Luau in Kihei on the Island of Maui. Come see the traditional Polynesian evolution of Hawaiian, New Zealand, Tahitian Hula Dancers with a Samoan Fire Dancer finale. Show includes Hawaiian Musicians & Drummer and more! In an intimate setting with less than 1/3rd the capacity of most luaus, come have a great time experiencing the culture outside of a resort environment. Includes an open bar with tropical well drinks, red or white house wine, beer and all non-alcoholic beverage. Enjoy a full Hawaiian all you can eat buffet with Hawaiian Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Panko-crusted Mahi Mahi with Lemon dill cream sauce, Hummus with vegetable crudites, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Mixed Vegetables, Mac Salad, Poi, White Rice, Molokai Sweet Potato, Green Salad w/Pineapple Vinaigrette dressing and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with honey butter. 5.00Our group of three thoroughly enjoyed this luau. We purchased VIP tickets for a small upcharge which afforded us access to the first wave of seating. The chairs were comfortable and right in front of the stage. They mention to bring sunglasses and this is a must as you may be sitting facing the setting sun. This being said, the venue is not large and I would have been happy in any seat. The buffet was plentiful and delicious and it was available for about two hours. The VIP upgrade allowed us unlimited drinks and I tried a few from their specialty cocktail menu, all of which were fantastic. Our server was delightful & attentive; his smile and laughter made our evening even more enjoyable. The entertainment began with two guitarists and a percussionist. They accompanied the emcee and dancers throughout the performance. The fire thrower was incredible. Everyone was energetic and really put their all into the performance. I enjoyed the abundant costume changes, music and dancing as they told the history of the islanders in the South Pacific. I wholeheartedly recommend this Luau. Mahalo! 🌴🌴🌴

Outdoor luau on the golf course

5.00For me, if was between the Luau on the ocean, or this luau on a golf course. I chose this one because it was less expensive and it was closer of a drive to our condo. Even though it is not on the ocean, it is outdoors and there is a beautiful view of the golf course and the many lush and beautiful plants and landscaping. The sound quality and the talented live musicians were awesome. The staff and our waiter was awesome. The food was awesome. Even though it was a full crowd, it was not over-crowded. We had front row seats and the performers were very talented and engaging. I would rully recommend this luau to everyone as it absolutely did not disappoint and was very fun and entertaining.
