Gilligans' Island Luau is an intimate luau experience and is the only luau in Kihei on Maui.
Our luau is less than one quarter the size of the average luau in Hawaii. So, every seat is a great view of the show.
The show is a mesmerizing journey through various types of Polynesian culture presented in a fun and engaging format. Through storytelling, audience participation and remarkable performances, we present an experience unavailable anywhere else.

Experience an Authentic Polynesian Luau in Kihei on the Island of Maui. Come see the traditional Polynesian evolution of Hawaiian, New Zealand, Tahitian Hula Dancers with a Samoan Fire Dancer finale. Show includes Hawaiian Musicians & Drummer and more! In an intimate setting with less than 1/3rd the capacity of most luaus, come have a great time experiencing the culture outside of a resort environment. Includes an open bar with tropical well drinks, red or white house wine, beer and all non-alcoholic beverage. Enjoy a full Hawaiian all you can eat buffet with Hawaiian Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Panko-crusted Mahi Mahi with Lemon dill cream sauce, Hummus with vegetable crudites, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Mixed Vegetables, Mac Salad, Poi, White Rice, Molokai Sweet Potato, Green Salad w/Pineapple Vinaigrette dressing and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with honey butter. 3.00It felt like a Buffet Meal with a Hawaiian dance presentation. Maybe it was the setting : on a back balcony, not on the grass/ground, no buried pig that was cooked. It probably had to do with the cost. It was a relatively inexpensive Luau. But, everyone had a great view of the presentation and it had a somewhat intimate feeling as it was limited in size.
Many dances, great story line, greatly enjoyed the music and food.

5.00We had a wonderful time. Food was delicious and worked with our many different palates. They seemed to thoroughly understand the flow of the evening and I recommend using restroom right after dinner as suggested so you don't miss any of the wonderful dances. February evening had a very slight chill once sun was down. Greatly appreciated the expressive dancers and smaller venue to be able to see their facial expressions with the dance. Many dances, great story line, many clothing changes, greatly enjoyed the music. We chose this venue for less crowd which we appreciated. Price seemed just right for the food and performance. Everyone seemed to enjoy the show, us adults and our 3 teenagers. Great to see and learn that men were the first to hula.

5.00It was a great experience from booking, to checkin, to drinks and then food and the wonderful show. The people who work there are fantastic. Friendly and helpful. The drinks are constantly flowing. The food was very good and plenty of variety. The performers were very good and entertaining. I felt like the people that worked there really liked their job. The price is reasonable. A good value for your money.
