Gilligans' Island Luau is an intimate luau experience and is the only luau in Kihei on Maui.
Our luau is less than one quarter the size of the average luau in Hawaii. So, every seat is a great view of the show.
The show is a mesmerizing journey through various types of Polynesian culture presented in a fun and engaging format. Through storytelling, audience participation and remarkable performances, we present an experience unavailable anywhere else.

Experience an Authentic Polynesian Luau in Kihei on the Island of Maui. Come see the traditional Polynesian evolution of Hawaiian, New Zealand, Tahitian Hula Dancers with a Samoan Fire Dancer finale. Show includes Hawaiian Musicians & Drummer and more! In an intimate setting with less than 1/3rd the capacity of most luaus, come have a great time experiencing the culture outside of a resort environment. Includes an open bar with tropical well drinks, red or white house wine, beer and all non-alcoholic beverage. Enjoy a full Hawaiian all you can eat buffet with Hawaiian Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Panko-crusted Mahi Mahi with Lemon dill cream sauce, Hummus with vegetable crudites, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Mixed Vegetables, Mac Salad, Poi, White Rice, Molokai Sweet Potato, Green Salad w/Pineapple Vinaigrette dressing and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with honey butter. 4.00This is a humble but sweet show. We learned of the culture and enjoyed the food & drink. The dancers were Ahhh-mazing. Especially the tiny woman & fire dancer. They connected best with the audience. The MC was witty & kind. I saw no mention or reference to Gilligans island, so that was misleading, and why I deducted a star.

2.00This luau was very disappointing. I wanted to turn and leave right when we arrived. The waiting area had bird droppings, branches, and cigarette butts on the ground. The food was mediocre at best. Desserts did not line up with what the website said other than cookies. The tables looked liked they needed to be cleaned and the chairs were very rickety. The emcee and dancers in the show did a nice job.

5.00This was our first luau. It was an amazing experience. The buffet was very tasty. The show was very entertaining. The dancers were really good. Lots of energy. It was just the right length. It was worth the price. We had vip seats and were right near the stage. I’m glad we paid a little extra for the seats, it was worth getting up close.

1.00So many bugs in all the food the entire time. Every time we tried to take a bite or drink anything there Ihle be some kind of bug landing in there. This experience was terrible for us and we left earlier because none of us enjoyed it.
Small but nice setting with everything you need to have with luau dinner!

4.00The place is small roughly 140 people or less, small stage, but overall it’s nice so everyone can be closer to the stage. You got everything just like the big show at hotel but in a smaller scale, food is decent overall it worth the money. Also just keep in mind this is outdoor with no shade and expect to sit under hot sun until sunset which I wasn’t aware off…

4.00It was great until it came to the fire part of the show. As VIP’s were asked to move and since we were closed to the stage we got shuffled to the back of the room when non VIPs were closer to the front. That part didn’t feel like VIP treatment we paid for. Everything else was great though. Really good food.
